My name is Vex and I've been playing League of Legends since season 6,
I main Lux and I am a Diamond Mid and Support player.

I've been playing Glacial Augment Morgana on Mid for a while and the results were awesome!
I'd like to share my knowledge about it so everyone can enjoy and feel the strength of this build.

How is Morgana Mid good?

Morgana has great AP scalings, spell healing, easy wave clear, high crowd control, the ability to keep herself and her surroundings safe and counter high magic damage burst or CC.
Whenever you play her right, it feels like you are unstoppable and able to win every lane and fight.

How is Glacial Augment good on Morgana

Morgana already has strong crowd control abilities, with Glacial Augment she is able to neutralize every escape from her abilities Dark Binding, Tormented Shadow and Soul Shackles which leads to the death of your opponents.

Pros

Strong wave clear due to Tormented Shadow.
Heavy Crowd Control due to Dark Binding and Soul Shackles.
Immune to CC and Magic Damage as long as Black Shield is available.
Great in making a successful invade/gank/fight.
Gains a bit of healing when hitting ability on champion/large minions/monsters due to Soul Siphon.
Friendly to beginners!

Cons

Low mobility.
Long cooldowns in the early game.
High mana costs.
Hard to hit Dark Binding from a long range.

Inspiration - Glacial Augment Perfect Timing Minion Dematerializer Cosmic Insight

Glacial Augment grants Morgana the incredible ability to slow her enemies with autoattacks and active items (such as Everfrost and Twin Shadows).

Perfect Timing gives Morgana a Commencing Stopwatch that transforms into a Stopwatch after 10 min, which can be upgraded into Zhonya's Hourglass later. In addition Perfect Timing reduces the cooldown of Zhonya's Hourglass by 15%, with Cosmic Insight and 5/5 stacks Ingenious Hunter, Zhonya's Hourglass cooldown is reduced by 60%!

Minion Dematerializer gives Morgana 3 Minion Dematerializers on cooldown that kill and absorb minions instanly, absorbing a minion increases your damage against that type of minion permanently. Minion Dematerializer helps Morgana's Tormented Shadow to clear waves faster, I suggest using 1 Minion Dematerializer on each type of minion ( Melee, Caster and Seige ).

Cosmic Insight gives Morgana an additional 5% Cooldown Reduction, 5% Max Cooldown Reduction, 5% Summoner Spell Cooldown Reduction and 5% Item Cooldown Reduction. Those stats are definitely worth it and most importantly gives 5% Item Cooldown Reduction which synergies well with Perfect Timing and Ingenious Hunter

Domination - Taste of Blood Ingenious Hunter

Taste of Blood gives Morgana a fine heal in lane activity, every 20 seconds when Morgana damages an enemy she heals a bit. Taste of Blood synergies well with Soul Siphon and corrupting poition, together they keep Morgana to stay longer in lane.

Ingenious Hunter gives Morgana 15% Active Item Cooldown Reduction plus an additional 5% per Bounty Hunter stack ( up to 5 stacks ). Ingenious Hunter is the rune which gives most Active Item Cooldown Reduction and synergies well with Cosmic Insight and Perfect Timing.
