Hello. Im HolidayUniverse from EUNE. Today I've came up with the idea for a little bit strange guide which is for the Pyke Sona combo that i call "The Furnace" Strange name uh? Im Platinum 3 in EUNE server and it works perfectly fine in this ELO. I had like 9 win streak with premade. I started playing League Season 2 but stopped playing because my computer was bad AF. Thats why i stopped playing in Season 2. I retuned to league Season 7. I made new account and got to lv 30. On the first placements i got Bronze 5 on flex and Bronze 1 solo/duo. I was kinda trolling bec i had no game knowledge and played things like Amumu or Poppy Support. I played only normal games for around 5 months and my game knowledge improved so well. I started to ward,look at minimap,etc. After struggeling i got out of bronze,but silver was literally same as bronze.When i got Silver 3 season 7 ended. Season 8 was the season of success for me. I did placements 6-4 and i got placed Silver 5. In the summer of Season 8 i went from Silver 4 to Silver 2 so quickly. Then i got to promos for Gold 5 (my aim for the season was gold)and i got so excited i love to play Jhin and i played Jhin in my Gold promos. Thats how i got to Gold 5. Season 9 i got placed Silver 3 . I started stomping games with Malphite ( u can check mine guide for the exact same build i used) and got Gold 2 in 1 week. The next step was Platinum. I got Platinum 4 pretty easy and weeks later i was Plat 3. Right now as of 8/20/2019 im almost Plat 2. Thats pretty much my League story.

Its pretty much ******** early game. You should survive the laning phase. Late game Sona becomes a monster and oneshots the entire backline. While Pyke gives her gold to her early game to make her scaling easier. Sona should build Spellthief's Edge for starting item , while Pyke starts with the standard Relic Shield. The more kills Pyke gets with ultimates early game , the more easy the game will be. Try to force drakes with your jungler and ask him to gank frequently. Every time u can , u should get as much of the turret's plates as u can to get gold. U can snowball other lanes too. Late game u should kill their backline as Sona and heal fantastic amount of damage.

PROS + Extremely high damage output late + Great snowballing potential + Great heal by Sona + Sona scales faster due to Death from Below So almost all pros are late game except that Death from Below helps Sona to scale faster. They have great roaming and snowballing potential duo to their movement abilities. Pyke's Ghostwater Dive and Sona's Song of Celerity.Late game Sona has so big damage output and healing. Pyke just should kill enemies with Death from Below late game.

CONS - Weak early game - Weak vs Hookers - Banning one = no furnace - Both are Squishy Early game is so weak for this duo. U can get stomped , but u hsould avoid it. U have a little bit of sustain due to Sona's Aria of Perseverance. If in champion select someone ban Sona or Pyke u cant play the combo. Late game u get assasinated pretty easy. Thresh , Nautilus or any other hooker is gonna be a huge problem. Soraka is hard matchup too.
