Reason for ability pathing

This is Kai'sa's bread and butter ability. Try to auto + Q when trading. The reason why we max this out first is because it is the ability that scales with both AD/AP and is point and click meaning it will be useful no matter the situation. |

This ability is very situational, max it out second when you are ahead, max it out third when you are losing. This ability scales with AP and deals more damage the more plasma you have stacked on the target. Try to get 4 autos on the enemy before using W. |

The reason why we max this ability second is because it is usually the ability that we evolve second and it provides self peel. The attack speed is also nice too. |

|
This ability is super situational. You can use it to dive the enemy backline if they are low or use it for self peel. The shield scales with AP however it is not very big. |
Item choice.

I usually build this when I am ahead. The problem with this item is that you get your E upgrade much later and the powerspike from this item is temporarily. |

|
This item is very useful on Kai'sa because its synergism with your Q and E evolve makes it so cost efficient. It also has a powerful slow that can be used to chase down targets. |
