Champion Build Guide

[9.20] S9 Reworked Pantheon Bruiser Jungle

By RSol Fox
First jungle clear
I always start Comet Spear and on the opposite side of where I want my first gank to be. Typically I will start bot side for the good leash and an early gank top. If the enemy bot lane has very low mobility then I will start top and go for an early gank bot. Always take Aegis Assault second. A typical clear for me would be to start Red then go to raptors. If you Q and then E while you wait to stack Mortal Will you will block the raptor damage while healing for quite a bit. Next, I'll do wolves the same way, then blue buff. Now you are level 3, very healthy, and ready to gank. If you have a strong level 1 invade (blitzcrank, morgana, etc.) I may opt to take Shield Vault first to try to secure a first blood. If that's the case then skip raptors and do gromp if you need it to hit level 3.
Early game.
Apply as much early pressure as you can. Try to focus on lanes that are winning in order to push for first blood tower and allow that lane to roam. Try your best to play around the next biggest objective. If it's dragon, then apply pressure to bot and mid and keep vision control. If you're looking to take rift herald then consider using your first ultimate top lane to either kill or push them out of lane and have your top laner help you take it quickly. Your lack of disengage makes invading the enemy jungle quite risky unless your lanes have priority and vision of the enemy jungler.
Mid game.
Always look to apply pressure where ever you can and play around dragons and baron. It's important that you stay alive after a team fight to take objectives. For this reason I typically get a GA for my 4th item. A good play is to take baron and then ult to a lane for towers/inhibs.
Late game.
You should be looking to end as soon as possible at this point. The best way to do that is to take baron and push with your team. If your ult is off cooldown you can look to split a side lane but be ready to join the fight. Your job in team fights can range from peeling the carries to jumping on the back line depending on what is needed. Your stun and empowered Q slow is very strong for both of these jobs.
Ending notes.
I'm only a gold division jungle main but I follow pro play and spend a lot of time researching game strategies and things like that. I'm very interested to see if higher ELO players try my build and can let me know what you think. What worked and what didn't. What felt good and what felt clunky or unnecessary. The main point of this guide was the show that reworked pantheon is not only viable but can be very strong if played correctly. I believe the bruiser build is where pantheon shines right now.
