- Added a list for all the abilities, how much the damage incrased each level, slow duration and a list for the damage of Pix, Faerie Companion incrasing each level up.
This is my first guide and I have really put a lot of time into this.
My main champion is AD Lulu. She is capable of playing on any lane.! Solo top, AD Carry and jungle.
The build I use for her never lets me down.
I hope this guide will be helpfull! Vote and rate. Comment and please tell me how I can improve this guide. :)
I've seen a few AD Lulu guides, but somehow people keep making the same mistake.
Don't build AD on Lulu! The secret is pure Attack speed.
With her awesome passive you can burst everyone down. 50% damage and 50% magic damage will still hurt the enemy, even if they built armour! They will need to build armor and magic resist items to stop you!
You literaly poke your enemies to death. Once you have enough dps, they just can't escape.
And ofcourse, when your weapon is dps, you want to be faster then your enemy too. Lulu has everything to do that. Your Glitterlance slows them greatly, and if you cast Whimsy on yourself you gain 35% movement speed so they just can't escape from your poking.
For most Solo Top champions, AD Lulu is a great counter. Most champions are close ranged on solo top. Just like when you see Teemo top, they can't get near the farm, and you can profit of the free farm. Lulu is a champion who dominates the lane. Solo top, you claim the farm and won't get the enemie come near it. If he does, Glitterlance + Whimsy + poking your enemy time after time they will be forced to retreat to their tower. That way they will know their place on the lane.
Pix, Faerie Companion Pix fires a barrage of 3 bolts, dealing 5 / 8 / 11 / 14 / 17 / 20 / 23 / 26 / 29 magic damage each, at whoever Lulu attacks. These bolts are homing but can be blocked by other units.
level 1: 15 magic damage
level 2: 24 magic damage
level 3: 33 magic damage
level 4: 42 magic damage
level 5: 51 magic damage
level 6: 60 magic damage
level 7: 69 magic damage
level 8: 78 magic damage
level 9: 87 magic damage
I max Glitterlance first. You will use Glitterlance a lot, and use it to harras or slow. It has more range than your basic attacks. Early you should use this a lot. Early game it does pretty much damage, more than your pokes for now. Late game you will just use it for the slow. But be carefull! An enemy can only be damaged by one bolt.
Lulu and Pix each fire a piercing bolt dealing magic damage, slowing enemies hit by 80% for a short duration. This slow decays over time. An enemy can only be damaged by one bolt.
Magic Damage: 80 / 125 / 170 / 215 / 260
Slow Duration: 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75 / 2 seconds
Cast it on yourself or allie, it gives you a lot of movement speed. Which is really nice to chase an enemie or let your allie chase the enemie. When you use it on an enemy you will silence them and transform them into a cute animal for a few seconds. When laning Solo top Use this on the enemy once they get close to you. Right after you cast Glitterlance and you start poking.
On ally cast: Target ally gains 35% movement speed and bonus ability power for 5 seconds.
On enemy cast: Polymorphs an enemy champion for a short duration, disabling their ability to attack or cast abilities and reducing their base movement speed by 60.
Cooldown: 18 / 16.5 / 15 / 13.5 / 12 seconds
Polymorph Duration: 1.5 / 1.75 / 2 / 2.25 / 2.5 seconds
Help, Pix! [E]
Casting this on yourself will give you or your allie a shield. But since you are not AP this will be a shield of nothing. But still it will be usefull. Via this shield you can use Glitterlance to slow enemies. Cast on an enemy you can see them for a few seconds. This is nice when you play against enemies who can stealth themselves. When you cast Help, Pix! on an enemy just when he runs away, try to hit with Glitterlance by Pix who is still with the enemie. This is hard to master.
On ally cast: Commands Pix to jump to an ally and grant them a shield for up to 6 seconds. Additionally, Pix will then follow and aid their attacks instead of Lulu's for 6 seconds.
On enemy cast: Pix deals magic damage to target enemy unit. Pix then follows and grants vision of them for 6 seconds.
Shield Strength: 60 / 105 / 150 / 195 / 240
Wild Growth [R]
This ult can be used different ways. As a life saver, or as an offense attack. It doesnt do any damage. But it trows them up to the sky, and gives you more health that you will keep after the ult is gone. Try to focus. When do I ult? Who do I ult? There are many awesome combo's to do with a lulu ult. For example: Katarina flashes in the middle of the team, does her Death Lotus and at the same time you ult her so Katarina will have a few more seconds to cast her ult and the enemies won't get away.
Lulu enlarges her ally, knocking nearby enemies into the air. For 7 seconds, her ally gains bonus health and an aura that slows nearby enemies for 1 extra second.
Bonus Health: 300 / 450 / 600
Cooldown: 110 / 95 / 80 seconds
Aura Slow: 30 / 45 / 60 %

/league-of-legends/ability/help-pix-482 what you do:
cast Help, Pix! on a minion, enemie player or even your own teammate.
Right now it's all about skillshot. Focus with Glitterlance to hit your target, and ofcourse, make sure it will do enough damage to kill it. your range will be from where you casted Help, Pix! from. So not from where you are standin. You get about 2 seconds to cast your Glitterlance, so don't stay still trying to hit the target for too long!
+ Ranged champion
+ Good farmer
+ Amazing slow with Glitterlance
+ Really good at escaping/chasing
+ big counter for close melee champs
- Squishy, you are an one-hit champion!
- Needs items to be usefull
- Needs farm
- Hard to master
- Early extremly weak
I buy them to have early high att speed and movenemt speed. 2 Zeal's gives the sam movenment speed as a Phantom Dancer. It will give you some early movement speed and attack speed. Since you can buy 2 Zeal's faster then a Phantom Dancer. It looks weird, but it works!
Just like Morgana can stack Doran's Ring you can stack Zeal's.
And later you buy a Phantom Dancer. Mostly I keep my other zeal untill there's no more room left or when I need a little more money for my next item.
The next item i am going to buy depends on the enemies team. Do they have a tank? Buy a Madred's Bloodrazor. Are you on top VS a tank? such as Cho'Gath, rush a Madred's Bloodrazor.
When your team doesn't have much CC, you go for a Frozen Mallet. It gives nice hp, and chance to slow your enemie. Once he's slowed, he can't escape you from poking him to death.
Just like Kog'Maw is Lulu great against tanks. You just poke them even under their tower and their hp goes down and down and mostly it's even hard to see that their hp is going down so fast. And then once they reach half hp they are like "what just happend?"
Lulu's base AD will be 60. I heard many people say: "Lulu nice troll, low AD and no AP."
As AD Lulu player you know it's not true. They always forget the passive. In this case, you do 60 AD + 15 AP per basic attack at level 1. And it will incrase every level.
Why I start with Doran's blade? It gives you 80 hp in the start. When you start with boots and pots you are really squishy. It also gives 3% lifesteal and 10 attack damage. Because Lulu is so weak early game you will really need the Doran.
These boots give you 20% att speed. On AD Lulu it's the best thing you are looking for. You want attack speed!
After I got my Berserker's Greaves I go for Zeal's. Most of the time I buy two of them. Why? For the early att speed and the movenement speed. Two Zeal's gives more then 1 Phantom Dancer And late game you sell the other Zeal when it isnt't needed anymore anyway.
Got 1 or 2 Zeal's? Not enough money to buy Phantom Dancer? Just take another Doran's Blade with you. it's never bad to do that.
Philosopher's Stone Not getting enough farm? everytime out of mana? Then better get a Philosopher's Stone instead of a second Zeal or Doran's Blade It gives you gold per 5 sec. and mana+hp regen. When you are loosing your lane, or just outfarmed, you will need this one.
You have now enjoyed your Zeal enough! Get a Phantom Dancer! More att speed! When you have two Zeal's just leave the other Zeal. Keep it untill you really don't need it anymore or need space/money for other items. The little att speed you own from the Zeal will always assist you the whole game.
Want more att speed? ofc! You are AD Lulu! When they have a tank in their team, Go for Madred's Bloodrazor. It really gives you some nice att. speed damage and armor! Your basic attacks deal bonus magic damage equal to 4% of the target's maximum Health. The passive is really helpfull on Lulu too. A Madred's Bloodrazor is not always needed to buy. Laning against tanky champs on top? like Cho'Gath Irelia Malphite Rush the Madred's Bloodrazor. Once you got it early the hell will start for them.
Wit's End is also really usefull to Lulu. It gives nice att speed. And it copies your passive. This item does also some magic damage each hit you make. And also, magic resist! Thats always nice on Lulu, since you are not tanky, you are a 1 shot for a burster.
This item gives you some nice Hp to survive a little longer. But the best thing it gives: 30% slow by basic attacks! What you want more? You are already DPS and once they are slowed too, they just won't get away!
Really don't know what to buy next? A second Phantom Dancer is never bad. I done that a few times, and it never leaved me. But remember there is a maximum on the DPS you build. I had once reached 2,200 DPS. I'm not sure about the maximum tbh.
Few other items that are also usefull on AD Lulu:
Some more attack speed, and ability power is always nice. Your attack speed stacks up the more basic attacks or abilities you use.
Some health is always nice since you are an one-hit champion. And the attack speed is usefull too! The passive is awesome in team fights, or for farming.
A video made by LLL Sneaky.
Usefull video to get a look into AD Lulu as AD Carry. He uses a lil different build as I do, but still, that won't stop the power of AD Lulu.
Thank you Ununhexium116 for showing me this. Warning about this has been posted above the guide.
you got some nice stats to show? put the image link into the comments :p
Flash isn't weird to take it with you. Almost every champ is happy with a Flash On Lulu, this is great to escape, or to pick up a kill.
You do DPS but when you are slow, and can't keep up a running enemie, your DPS will be almost useless. You want to be fast!
I don't recoment this. But when you think it's really needed, then take it.
It can be usefull, but I still prefer Ghost.
Not recomended spells:
You are DPS, if you play it right you won't be really needed a clarity.
You are not a supp! Not this time atleast.
its always nice, but I don't recomment this on AD lulu. You are fast already. Like a yi.
Also Lulu is ranged. So you don't have to get near your farm. You can just stand back and easy last hit the minions.
There is 1 thing you should care about. Your passive, doesn't go threw minions. So when you attack an enemie who stands behind the minions, he won't get the damage of Pix, Faerie Companion.
You dominate the lane. Claim the farm, and when the enemie gets near you, just Glitterlance them and Whimsy they will run back to the tower, you poke them a lot while they are running.
Getting ganked on top? Always have some mana left! That's really important! Cast Whimsy on yourself to get movenement speed. Slow them if there's time, and when you are almost dead, cast your Wild Growth to get more hp, and let the enemies jump into to air. Wait till the last momment when you cast Wild Growth when you are fighting 1on1. You will suprise the enemies. You were almost dead, then suddenly you gain hp and they will fly up in the air! Its really great for escapes also.
Once you decide to solo top, keep in mind that you will have 2 AD Carry alike in your team. To fix this, make sure the support and jungler are tanky. Such as Leona, Alistar or Taric bot, so there are still tanks who can initiate. Junglers like Amumu, Malphite and Nautilus works perfect as well.
Nice supports who works fine with lulu:
Soraka is a hard support with Lulu though. Lulu is weak early game. She won't do more damage as the other AD carry's you will face. The heals and mana are really nice! but the first 10 minuts can become a lane without damage for you, and the other lanes will get more damage. You really need items to be usefull. That's why a support who can put out some damage as well really nice with Lulu. Also tanky supports are nice. You are squischy, and don't want to reach low health.
On laning, the first few levels, try to farm as much you can. Last hit! You need the farm if you want to make yourself usefull! Lulu is really item depending! Without items, you do no damage because you don't have any base ad or ap. Poke the enemies somethimes. Use Glitterlance to them poke them or to get more minions at once. When the enemy is slowed keep poking them untill you can't reach them and go back to farming. This way you will show them that you claim the farm, and dominate the lane. Poking with Glitterlance is awesome. It deals 80/125/170/215/160 damage. Max it early, so you can still put out regulair damage without having your items yet.
Ask your teamates to give you a big pull.
After blue you take the wolves. Use your Glitterlance to pull out more damage.
After the Wolves you go take the wraiths. Mostly I have to go back for hp when I done that. When you are pro, take the golems then you can go Back.
Once you got back your hp, you will start at wolves wraiths and golems again, you are not ready to do a red. Unless you get your team to pull the red for you.
Your ganking abilities are awesome! You are fast, you have a slow and go on! Mostly you usefull ganks starts at level 6. At that level you have a lil more damage output. Jungling Lulu will take longer to get more attack speed. Attack speed runes are really important to do this. Also armor runes are important. You are squischy, and you die fast in the jungle early. It's a decision you have to make. Attack speed, or armor.
You start with Cloth Armor and 5 Health Potion >>> Wriggle's Lantern
After that you build att speed. Start again with Zeal's and follow the build what is needed in the team.
For more information about Lulu and her jungling, try out this guide.
This is where you should ward with your Wriggle's Lantern.
Yellow: Vital to protect the jungler on your team
Blue: For protection depending on which lane you're on
Red: To guard Dragon and Baron
Orange: In order to Counter-Jungle
Nunu & Willump >>> Absolute Zero + Wild Growth
Katarina >>> Death Lotus + Wild Growth
Malphite >>> Unstoppable Force + Wild Growth
Leona >>> Zenith Blade + Wild Growth
and ofc a lot more! Try to find your perfect combo with your team mates.
Once a team fight starts. There will be always someone who dives into the team. Thats the right momment to cast your Wild Growth! their whole team will dash up into the air! The whole enemie team is being slowed as well and just can't escape. You stay behind and poke them, silence the right persons. (people like magers who can burtst you down.) Or when it comes to chasing, use Whimsy on yourself or a teammate to reach the enemie. When the whole enemie team is standing together at one place, you can easily trow your Glitterlance into it and the whole team is slowed.
Remember, don't tank the team fights. Always stay behind to deal tons of pokes and not getting hurt.
Stay behind and let your team protect you.
Its just the same when you play AD Carry. You are a 1-hit champion, and the enemy will focus you. Stay behind, stay out of reach for them, and let your team protect you. Don't initiate a team fight. Stay near the tank in your team and focuz on not getting hit.
