Item Jhinformation

Stormrazor is the new best item on Jhin and your replacement Essence Reaver. It doesn't only provide a decent amount of AD, but the Attack Speed adds to that. However the passive is what's really great, it essentially buffs Jhin's passive to giving him more movement speed bonus on a lot of his Crits and additionally makes his attacks hurt THAT much more. I really recommend holding off on your 4th shot for a second to get the maximum damage potential when combined with Stormrazor along with Hail of Blades

Rapid Firecannon is my favorite item on Jhin because when I buy it, I notice a massive spike in damage which can help you snowball jhinto the rest of your build. Once you buy it, you will have a lot more potential in snagging kills, primarily with your 4th shot on low HP enemies trying to play it passive.

Infinity Edge is essential to Crit Jhin being that it'll give you a huge bonus in Crit Rate and of course spike up your Crit Damage. Remember though that with the Infinity Edge rework, the item is now codependent on other Crit Items for providing any boost to Crit Rate, thus should only be bought after you already have a Crit Rate item.

Boots of Swiftness are the best boots for Jhin since Jhin lacks any mobility, so movement slowing abilities can really put Jhin in a dangerous place. Berserker's Graves provide a little bit of a jhincrease in Attack Damage but overall I just see Boots of Swiftness as the best choice. Unless of course they lack any Movement Slowing Abilities.

Berserker's Greaves for Jhin provide an increase to his AD, though I wouldn't recommend grabbing these too often. Boots of Swiftness I see to be the best for Jhin, and the only time I'd recommend grabbing Berserker's Greaves is if they somehow lack any Movement Slows or at least aren't using those slows on you, which is unlikely.

Ninja Tabi is a pretty great pick against heavy AD teams. It'll keep you alive, and are especially great when facing the enemy ADC. If they have a team like Jax Top, Azir mid, Draven and Bard bot along with a Master Yi Jungle then duh of course you'd grab this item because all those champions at least to some extent rely on Auto Attacks to deal damage and Ninja Tabi makes those Auto Attacks weaker.

Bloodthirster is a pretty tasty item for Jhin. It provides a big jhincrease in Attack Damage and the Life Steal can really help sustain yourself in fights. This item is what you should grab most late games.

Lord Dominik's Regards Is what you grab if the enemy is frantically grabbing tons of armor to deal with you or another AD on your team. This will negate a fair amount of that armor to help you conjhinue to shred them down.

Guardian Angel is good if they have burst assassins that can kill you in a few seconds. This item can save you especially if you have your team around you that conjhinue the fight as you're being revived.

Sterak's Gage is nice because it is defensive and yet it provides a bit of Attack Damage as well. This item is pretty good for countering burst champions like Talon or Zed.

Maw of Malmortius is like Sterak's Gage in a sense. It provides a shield and some attack damage. However the shield is only for magic damage, so I see this as a good item to counter champions like Veigar or Diana. Not only that, but it provides Magic Resist which further counters any AP champions on the enemy team.

Mortal Reminder is a great item against sustain tanks like Warwick or Nasus. The Grievous Wounds will make their heals weaker and the passive help to deal with armor they have. Grab this item to help deal with those types of tanks.

Youmuu's Ghostblade is a great item to get if you're ahead in the game at like 12/0 or something. If there are a lot of assassins that pose a threat to you, I'd not recommend this item. This item is raw damage, and should only be grabbed if dying isn't much of an issue.

Summoner Spells

Flash is great with Jhin as a kill-securer. Almost every game I can get a kill with Flash by holding on the 4th Shot and then flashing at a low health enemy. Flash is certainly something you need every game.

Heal is also needed on Jhin every game not just to heal you and your support, but because it can save you many of times with that speed boost. The lack of mobility with Jhin really makes him rely on stuff like Heal.

Ranked Play

Getting fed is ADC jhin a nutshell. If you want to be useful for your team, you need to be sure to get plenty of kills which can only be done by being aggressive. So make sure to poke the enemy a lot while also not getting too aggressive to the point where you put yourself at risk. Feeders always ruin ranked games, so make sure not to be one of those people. You want to be useful for your team whenever you can, so even if you're too low to engage with your team, then ult from a distance. Though even if you're low, as long as your team has them busy, you can still fight alongside them though this can be risky if you don't have Heal or Flash up. Remember to be there for Dragons and Baron Nashor . You're going to be providing the most damage against those monsters due to all that crit and Attack Damage. I'd recommend getting Dragon after wiping their bot lane with Jungler since getting objectives can be crucial to winning the game. Also be sure to stick with your team, never run out alone. Jhin is very team reliant so trying to pick fights when alone can put you at risk.

CSing

When CSing as Jhin, a lot of times you want to set up the jhinions for a Dancing Grenade. This can be done by getting a row of jhinions low health and then using your Dancing Grenade when the enemy is nearby. Since Dancing Grenade does jhincreased damage per kill, this can do a great deal of damage to the enemy. However I wouldn't recommend spamming Dancing Grenade whenever it is up, as this can make you run out of mana quickly. Four your fourth shot, you want to save it for the enemy if they're nearby. If they are being passive and hiding when you have it ready, then just save it for a jhinion, preferably a tanky one. I would not recommend going too far out with Jhin when CSing since Jhin is team reliant and at extreme risk of being ganked. CSing is crucial to getting level 7 with Jhin, so be sure to not tunnel in on kills but also focus on CSing.

Team Work

Wait for your team to go in first, do not EVER go in first because you will die in seconds. Just wait until they're attacking someone else and then you can start to blow people up. Also be aware of any fights happening near you. Many of times if an enemy is getting away, I can land a Deadly Flourish on them and then my teammate can secure the kill. Take advantage of the massive ranged Riot gave Jhin's abilities.

Lotus Trap Positioning

There are 2 methods you can use for laying down traps; 1 is putting a variety of traps in different places to slow down enemies and keep you protected from ganks. The other is throwing down all of them in 1 spot and hoping the enemy steps over it so you can snare with Deadly Flourish and deal massive damage. In ranked I'd recommend sticking to the first method, but for unranked it is always fun to use the 2nd method. Though trying the 2nd method for the most part is only good if who you're laning against has no mobility to get out of the traps before your Deadly Flourish.

Here's a map of where you should typically put the traps;

Lotus Trap Stacking

I wouldn't recommend doing this unless you just want to screw around on Jhin.
