Introduction

Hello everyone here's a Darius build I made. :) Darius is a melee AD carry. In this build, I made him more tanky but still strong enough to kill on his own.
This is the best build evar!! I'm not saying this is the best build but it works well for me. xD

Runes

For runes, I recommend flat AD marks*, armor seals, magic resist glyphs, and MS quintessences*.

Skill Sequence

Basically it's R>Q>W>E just take 1 point for Apprehend at lvl 2.

Abilities

This passive is awesome.

Main skill for damage and great for harassing enemies.

This skill slows enemies. Try landing a few hits before using this skill for lower cooldown.

Great skill for chasing enemies. Use this to stack more Hemorrhage before using Crippling Strike. Crippling Strike becomes more of a spam skill if used repeatedly on same hero with max Hemorrhage.

Great skill for KS-ing. Always remember that this skill is stronger with more Hemorrhage stacks. This skill also refreshes when enemy target is killed by Noxian Guillotine. Aim for penta-KS. ^^ xD

Summoner Spells

Exhaust is really the best summoner spell for darius since it weakens enemies and slows them. It is best to use this on AD carries.

Flash is the 2nd summoner spell i choose because often times enemies flash over walls and Apprehend has a long *** cooldown.*

Ghost is another good summoner spell*.

Ignite is good summoner spell to secure a kill, i usually don't use this skill on Darius because i become reluctant to the skill and start to mess up using Noxian Guillotine. Although, it is a must have if in case you have a mundo/alistar or any hard *** tanks as an enemy.*

Items

Starting Items

Normally I use Boots+ Health Potions because movement speed allows me to harass and escape from early ganks but when facing annoying enemies like Singed or Teemo, taking Regrowth Pendant helps sustain from the poison while Cloth Armor+ Health Potions allows you to farm easier during lane.

Early Game

philosopher's stone sight ward

These items help you sustain in lane early game and gain extra gold every 10 seconds. For me this is needed for Darius to farm faster than most enemies allowing him to buy mid-late game items faster. Sight wards are also needed to avoid ganks and counter enemies.

Mid Game

Trinity Force helps darius in terms of attack speed, movement speed, attack damage, health, mana, and critical strike chances. With a bonus of 20% of slowing enemies, it is definitely a must have for darius. Sunfire Aegis and Force of Nature combined keeps darius from dying in an instant. The armor, magic resist, HP, and HP regeneration and a bonus of 40 magic damage per second allows Darius to help teammates and survive team fights.

Late Game

Frozen Heart is kind of a must have late game because of the armor, cooldown, and the aura. (useful against AD carries) Maw of Malmortius gives magic resist, attack damage, and a 400 damage shield. (useful for escaping enemies)

Situational items

Thornmail is useful against AD carries. Use this instead of Maw of Malmortius if enemy team has high AD damage output.

Guardian Angel has armor and magic resist and a revive passive. I usually take this if enemies have a lot of AOE crowd control (i.e. Amumu+ Galio+ Kennen+ Nunu & Willump+ Miss Fortune) or to piss off enemy Karthus. :)

Banshee's Veil has a spell block and magic resist.(useful against high AP enemies)

Gameplay-Solo Top

Lane

Darius is best as a solo top laner.

Early Game

Early game try to harass your opponent on top using Decimate so that it is easier for your jungler to gank on the top lane. Darius' Apprehend skill also makes is easier for the jungler to gank even at lvl 2. Always buy at least 1 sight ward to keep the top lane safe from ganks. Also, don't push the lane too far, just last hit creeps otherwise your enemy jungler will have an advantage when ganking.

Mid-Late Game

Try pulling 1-2 enemy heroes using Apprehend so your team can single out 1-2 heroes. Apprehend can also be used to stop ultimates like Nunu & Willump's but be careful if you hooked Nunu & Willump before he uses his ultimate. He might start channeling his ultimate and thus initiating the team fight. Having Darius pull one enemy makes it easier for your team to push a lane. Darius's Ultimate can be used to kill all your enemies so make sure to only use Noxian Guillotine when the enemy will surely die from it. Sometimes when you know your already gonna die and your enemy is low on HP and you've already maxed the stacks for Hemorrhage, you may use Noxian Guillotine, die and wait until your enemy dies from hemorrhage. :)

During Team Fights

Darius is strong enough to tank in team fights and can initiate team fights by catching people off guard. Try focusing on enemy carries and Apprehend anyone who tries to go near your carries. Don't forget to use Exhaust on AD carries and focus them immediately.
