Basically, why I tried AP Bruiser Amumu is mainly because of a inspiration from a pure AP Amumu I've met in a game quite a while ago. So I tried him in a normal game without reading his abilities in wikia/ etc. He is actually quite nice to be used.

Remember your Curse of the Sad Mummy is something like an initialing skill to all your allies. They will instantly charge to you once you used it.
(One of the reason you get Enchantment: Captain)

Try to catch at least 3 enemy champions with your Curse of the Sad Mummy. This gives your allies to have a chance to come in and rape the enemy team.
Remember your Bandage Toss is a very long ranged skillshot. You can always flash to hook the enemy carry to catch them offguard.

Remember to activate Despair and also to use Tantrum everytime it is off cooldown in a teamfight.
