Summary

I am very new to the Bard Champ and I haven't been playing League of Legends as long as others. I just turned level 30 about 2 weeks ago, but I've always wanted to make a guide. Now, with this new champ and my unexpected fascination with him, I can deliver a guide (after some practice in a few created matches) that might start everyone off on a good track. And maybe some high elo League of Legends master can remake it into something truly useful! Thanks for reading guys. I'll do my best to keep this up to date and I'll go in depth once I know more about this new champion.

Creeping / Jungling

This is the strategy I use when going for the Dragon buffs. This is very important...

Jungling as the Bard, you MUST have both smite charges, increased health, AP and/or armor before going for drag. You also must have your first upgrade for smite, 2 health potions and the Red buff.

AND if you want to kill drag as quickly as possible by yourself, you need to get as many meeps as possible without taking up too much time. Now this means that you'll probably have to get lucky and just run a lap through a group of shrines in one area. But the extra damage will help, even if you have just 2 meeps (which is prob all you'll get at that stage anyway). Also, place a ward right in front of the dragon pit (in the river) so that you'll know when an enemy is approaching. That way, you can just use your portal and bail (but keep running or hide in the vicinity because they can jump through too).

Okay, so here is where it gets tricky. After you have made the preparations and hopefully by this time, the enemy jungler hasn't already taken it, you can go for the Dragon. Spam your Q and W. BUT!!! Hold on! This is how you use W effectively. You can highlight your champ or an ally with W and its almost like a point-target heal. But if you place the Healing Shrine on your left and on your right, you can just step over to them to heal and keep going (you place them away from you so that they have time to bud in order to get the maximum heal). But after absorbing one, you move back to your original position so that you can replace that Healing Shrine and easily get to the other. And all the while you have to try to keep attacking the dragon. So place shrine, Q, attack-attack, step over, attack, absorb shrine, attack, step back over, Q, replace shrine, attack, step over to the other side, attack, absorb shrine, step back over, Q, replace shrine. Rinse and Repeat. I will try to post a screenshot of what I mean to clear up any confusion. You basically just want to place the shrines where you can easily get to them and put them out again while dealing continuous damage to drag. That's it in a nutshell. Try to have your teammates help you whenever possible in order to get drag as fast as possible and ovoid it being stolen. Also, be sure to place at least one shrine before attack Drag, then place the other and once they both bud, you can start absorbing and replacing them.
