Evelynn is an assassin that excels in ganking efficiently through lane or river. She provides global pressure due to her passive which gives her stealth when not in combat. Compared to current meta champions Evelynn falls short, and must find an advantage early game.

Evelynn has trouble clearing the jungle early game and therefore must go flat stats to clearly efficiently. Flat AD and flat AP amplify her early game damage by scaling into Q, E, and Thunderlord's Decree.

Evelynn excels at bursting down squishy targets despite being squishy herself.

She is weak against hard CC and mobility champions.

In her first jungle clear, Evelynn can leave the jungle healthy and provide a gank. After her first gank, clear camps only to finish off important items. Otherwise, recall as soon as possible and look for more gank opportunities and only clear camps that are in the path to the lane you are ganking. After building a Hextech Protobelt-01, it can be used to help farm the jungle only if you are looking to recall after that camp.

In team fights, Evelynn can initiate with her R hitting multiple targets and picking out a single target with her E and Q. By soaking the initial damage with the shield that her ult provides, slowing her enemies, she can allow her team to follow up.

Evelynn should farm as little as possible when not in possession of a Blue buff. She's extremely mana hungry and using Hextech Protobelt-01 should be used to push waves quickly if necessary.
