Ekko
He is not a big threat for you on 1v1, he can almost never kill you unless if he's fed, but what will effect your game is that he outganks you, out farms you in early game so you will very likely to fall behind and you cannot kill him, unless your team baits his R or if he is just bad then maybe, but overall he is just annoying and facing him will be a huge pain in the ass for both you and your team.
Yasuo
As long as you are hitting your R and the yasuo is not some toxic kid from hell then you two would probably get some great teamfight for your team.

Champion Build Guide
You want to gank side-lanes a lot, camping bot is a very good thing because your R can have its full potential there. If your teammate is getting chased you want to run full speed to the rescue because a lot of time you can turn the fight with your R.
Try to not waste your R on a single enemy unless its good or you have no choice, you getting 3 assist is always better for your team than you getting 1 kill but 2 of your teammate dies because most of the time you will get the kills anyway because you have very good burst damage.
As soon as you hit lvl 6 you want to camp bot-lane, just do: 1. Go bot, press R to ruin their day. 2. Go mid, help the struggling yasuo main who think he's faker but goes 0/3. 3. Take his kill and mute him for flaming you. 4. Be a good little farmer and clear your blue side. 5. Realise you have 1000 G for the 3 kills you got so you go B and buy. 6. Ignore top-lanes ping and go take dragon. 7. REPEAT.
Route:
If Red Top: Red - Raptors - Krugs - Gank Top - Home(if you get kill) / Gank Mid (No kills)
If Red Bot: Red - Krugs - Raptors - Wolves - Blue - Gromp - Scuttle - Gank Top / Gank Mid (Skip Blue and Gromp if it gets stolen by enemies)
How to clear camps:
Red: Start with AA + W, your will have your W on when when red have around 500 HP, dont use it save it for raptors or krugs. You can Q it at a distance first if you are lvl 3+
Raptors: AA + W, AA on the nearest small raptor and hit your W on the middle one. E right after your first empowered attack and try to hit all of them includint the large one, attack every small raptors once (Not the ones that you've already hit) and they should all be at about little less than half hp, now start attacking the large one and use your E when its ready so all the small one dies. Again your W would be ready before you kill the large raptor but save it because it would just be a waste of mana. Q is not necessary but you can use Q to last hit the large raptor so you get a movement speed bonus.
Krugs: AA + W on the big one and E to damage them both, keep focusing on the big one and smite + E it when your E is up again. Use W + E to kill the Medium ones and save our last E for the small ones.
Wolves: Q the Large Wolf and then AA + W, try to get an angle where you hit all 3 of them with your empowered attack and E them between your attacks.
Blue: Q and follow up with AA + W, just spam your ablilties as soon as you have them but save the W. Do not smite the blue unless you are 1-2 hit from dying!
Gromp: Q + AA + W as usuall and smite when you use your E, keep attacking it with your AA and E. Last hit with Q if you want the extra movement speed.
Scuttle: Q it to catch up to it, then AA + W + E. Use your Q right so you can block its path so you wont expose yourself to any mid or side-lane brush wards.
If you are playing against very tanky champs just focus on killing their back-laner and let your team focus on the tanks because ap Malphite is one of the best champion to kill back-laners.
Also try to play safe and wait for the perfect oppertunity, if you die then your team is going to have a tough time winning teamfight, that same rule also applies to if you hit a bad R and die without killing their back-laner.
The reason i would recommend Relic Shield is becuase you want to preserve your mana as much as you can and starting Spelltheif's Edge forces you to use mana on your Q and before any mana item you really dont have much mana for that. However Spelltheif's Edge is viable if you have a Adc that would want a lot of all-ins or trade a lot or enemy have Adc that have a short range or a melee support, then you can probably proc all three stacks by going in.
Start to roam a lot once you finish you first item becuase you would put a lot of lane pressure with your ult (Because enemies are afraid to push and jungler will be uncomfortable ganking). Roam once you and your adc take out the enemy bot-lane or they are forced to base. You want to R a lot since your R cooldown is usually as long as your death timer + the time you walk back to lane.
Malphite is undoubtedly one of my favorite champion to play and so far i am fed in almost every single ranked / normal game i've played. I think Malphite just gives you that satisfied feeling when you press R E W and get a triple kill instant. However i do respect Tank Malphite as much even i dont play it that often. If you find any flaws in my guide please tell me and i'll see if i can fix them.
