Introduction

Hello, my name is Sinistus and this is my guide on Ashe Please do not down vote because you dis-like Ashe or my other builds. Only down vote if you truly think this is a bad build and please explain why below. I must admit that a lot of this build is credited to Tripwire78 who gave me suggestions on the build. I would also like to thank JhoiJhoi for making a guide about how to make a good guide. Feel free to add me in game, my summoner name is: Sinistus. So, without further ado, lets get to it!

Precision
Fleet Footwork
Phase Rush
The reason I chosegreater mark of desolation is because it gives me that armour pen I need to start me off as with most other AD champions I get it.

I chose is because it gives me that extra attack speed that I want to begin the game and it scales great with late game giving my 1.7 attack speed.

The quints I chose was because it gives me some extra AD that put me up to 60-61 AD to start off with.

The reason I chose is because I found that early game I took a lot of damage from minions when I attacked other champions and this will reduce some of the damage.

Summoner Spells

Viable Summoner Spell Choices

benefits Ashe because it helps her get into lane quicker and is useful when combined with
Pros:
  • Come into the middle of a battle unannounced
  • Great mobility

Cons:
  • Long cooldown
  • Could teleport in a fraction late and die
  • Takes practice when and where to teleport in
SPACE is what saves my *** from nearly everything. Use it to jump over walls or catch running enemies.
Pros:
  • Close distance
  • Great mobility
  • Make distance

Cons:
  • Long cooldown
  • Easy to waste
  • Takes practice when to use it
SPACE
can be used in place of teleport if you don't have a support.
Pros:
  • Higher lane stay
  • Easy to use
  • Heal baiting :D
  • Tower diving

Cons:
  • Easy to waste
  • Less useful late game
  • Takes practice when to use for baiting and diving

Focus

Great for ganking and when teleporting into team fights. Also helpful when chasing to get more critical shots off. (If you calculate how much slowing potential compared to cost in mana it turns out 8 mana per shot is cheaper than 60 mana every 3 seconds)

Frost Shot

Ashe's bread and butter. This is what makes Ashe, well, Ashe! A 35% slow that you can turn on and off when you please. I max this first because no one will be able to reach you and it help once you get that Black Cleaver.

Volley

An AoE frost shot that does extra damage. I max this second because it gives you the best chance to get that extra damage and the early game AoE slow is GREAT!(If you calculate how much slowing potential, compared to cost in mana for volley and frost shot, it turns out 8 mana per shot is cheaper than 60 mana every 3 seconds)

Hawkshot

I think this ability is great on Ashe because of the vision it gives and the extra gold but it's not really worth it considering the other abilities she has.

Enchanted Crystal Arrow

A 3 second stun and AoE slow that flies the whole way across the map :D that I gotta have! This is Ashe's chaser ability. Use this when someone is chasing you when you are on low health or use from far away and teleport just before it hits for maximum damage.

With and Without Support. Does it make a Difference?

This chapter will give differences between Ashe with a support and Ashe without a support.

The main difference between the two is survivability. With a support, Ashe rarely needs a because she has that constant heal from a support. Whereas without a support Ashe will need a lot of other wise she dies. Another difference is how aggressive you can be. With a support Ashe can be SUPER aggressive to other enemy champions and usually pick up a few kills but without one she tends to die... a lot.

IMO you should always try to go with a support if you have one but if you can't grab heal instead just to increase how long you can stay in lane.

My preferences in supports are:

I prefer Sona over all other champions because of her spamable heal and her ultimate stun. I also like her because of the utility she brings with her Q and E.

I think Soraka is the next best thing from Sona. Especially when versing a caster in your lane. Her silence make all the difference and her global heal makes sure you rarely die.

Janna is a great support for any AD character. She has a multi-target knock-up, a shield that gives you up to 50 AD, a slow that can probably save your life more than once and a heal that is another multi-target knockback. I doubt you'll die much with her sticking with you.

Health Potion 50
Berserker's Greaves 1100
Dagger 300
Black Cleaver 3000
Vampiric Scepter 900
B. F. Sword 1300
Infinity Edge 3300
Bloodthirster 3400

These are all core items! I really like these items because they give me the must utility for using Frost Shot

The Black Cleaver is chosen for the extra attack speed and armour pen it gives to Ashe.

I chose Infinity Edge because it kicks *** on Ashe and she crits like a beast!

I obviously chose Vampiric Scepter where I did because I kept dying when I took it later and it was useless earlier.

The Blood Thirster blood thirster is for extra damage and life steal. Really just an upgrade that I wanted from Vampiric Scepter

Damage Items

Phantom Dancer 2800
A great addition to Ashe. Gives massive armor pen against nasty tanks like and a nice AD boost to top it all off.
This item is probably one of the closest to going into my core items because it gives me a bunch of movement speed, crit strike chance so that i can punch a hole in tanks and attack speed so that no one gets away.

Survivability Items

Item Sequence

Banshee's Veil 3100
Ionic Spark 2100
Thornmail 2700
This is a great health item for Ashe and even better when combined with Atma's Impaler because it gives you health and damage.
This item is great to stop incoming CC and give you some extra health and mana it also comes with some magic resistance for nasty casters like :D
This item is a great choice because it gives you extra attack speed and a little bit of a health boost.
Another valuable item, I usually only get this if the enemy team is very heavy in AD or they have someone like

Summary

Ashe is an extremely fun champion to play, even though she is really squishy and needs a bit of a buff to keep up with Caitlyn. If you have any comments, questions or queries about my guide, please don't hesitate to ask.
