Introduction
Im Playing for 1 1/2 Years now and this is actually the first guide I ever made, so yea...

(You will probably find alot of grammar mistakes because engl. is just my 2nd Language)
Well, I decided to create an Azir guide because Im a Main Midlane/Supp and I think that Azir really suits my strategical Playstyle.
I know this isnt a Big Guide or Something but I felt like he needs a Guide which also covers the "Azir vs AD" case.

Yea so Runes are actually quite a Big Deal on Azir, cause I saw builds where they recommend runes, which doesnt "cover" the whole Game. (CDR Runes)
I think you dont really need CDR Runes on him, because of the Items you just have to build.
The Cap of CDR is at 40%, you get those easily with items, and you would waste important ressources for Lategame if u would use CDR runes for ur early game.
Lets start ;)
Quints:
You just run the usual AP quints since there arent other quints which would make sense on him (besides the Magic Penetration Quints). You just need it for your overall AP Ratios.
Marks:
Yea Marks are such a thing, ATM I would recommend the Magic Penetration Runes, but you can also go with Hybrid Penetration if u prefer it.
Mpen makes just more sense because u will most likely AutoAttack with ur Soldiers, who deal only Magic Damage, so there is no need for Armor Penetration.
Seals:
Id prefer to go with Scaling Health. They are pretty good for Lategame and will give you a little bit of extra sustain, what is really needed on him since he isnt one of the champs with super mobility.
If u play against an AD Heavy Team you could also go for 9x Flat Armor.
Glyphs:
At Glyphs I would usually use 9x MR but you could also go with AP/Lvl if u want to get a higher Damage Spike in LateGame.

I dont quite use the usual 21/9/0 Masteries here because I put 4 Points into Atk Speed and not all into CDR(Offensive Side). Reason is simple, if you face an AP Laner, u will probably get Athenes and Nash in your core, just to have MR and to get ur CDR together. Nash and Athenes give u 40% CDR ( the cap) so it wouldnt make much sense for lategame to get more cdr than u can get. So 5% Atk Speed seem maybe a bit strange, but it makes sense for the Lategame.
But I also put some Points in the CDR because of a better earlygame.
As an opportunity you can also go for 21/0/9 with 5% in Atk Speed :)

In that matchup you should also go for 21/9/0, but this time with 4 Points in CDR and 2 in AtkSpeed(Offensive side). The reason is his different Itembuild. You probably wont go for an athenes in that Matchup, because it wouldnt give u good Stats against the AD Laner. You try to build sustain to reduce their killpotential in form of an Sustainbuild. Since the CDR cap is at 40%, and you cant reach it just with Nash and these Masteries, you have to get Ionian to come close to the 40%.
Just like vs AP you could also go for 21/0/9.

- Safe Farmer such as Orianna
- The Lategame DPS is totally insane
- His Ult can turn Teamfights very hard
- Great Splitpusher because W deals
Damage to Towers
- Pretty Strong Poke without getting in Danger
- Can Summone a Turret
- If he gets caught/ Hard CCd hes probably dead
- He needs his core Items to become usefull
- > Needs a good farm in Laning Phase
- His Combos are quite hard to get used to. You can compare him to Orianna or Zed.
