Yasuo is a very high burst based champion who relies highly on 1v1 mechanics however his teamfight capabilities fall of if there are no knock ups present in the team. Yasuo is also countered by hard cc. This build does not make him more tanky, however it utilises yasuo's damage and also adds survivability to his kit, giving him the boost he needs to do better in late game.

pros
Red smite is excellent for neglecting damage from the enemy and also adding some true damage, it is also in fairly low cool down.
Smite provides better farming capabilities (smtite siege early levels)
You can build the phantom dancer in addition to the deaths dance to get max damage reduction
Bloodrazor is great for fighting against tanks
cons
Not as much burst as infinity edge build

Farm as normal but try not to push the wave too much as you are prone to ganks.
use smite to farm whenever you can, save smite sometimes to farm the siege.

Be sure to get the re smite part of the jungler item on first back.
prioritise building razorfang then triforce or phantom
if possible buy phage part of triforce then build phantom
