Spells:
Ghost
Garrison
Ability Order
Determination (PASSIVE)
Xin Zhao Passive Ability
Introduction
21/0/9 spread for damage output and utility. Nothing too out of the ordinary. You can try using a 21/8/1 spread if you'd rather have increased armor and magic resistances but since you'll need
Haste
for Ghost I wouldn't recommend it. If you use another spell over Ghost then it might be more practical.
is possibly the best spell in Dominion, and already an excellent choice for Xin, no brainer.
is possibly the second best spell in Dominion. It allows you to capture enemy points easier and save a point that's in a lopsided fight.
is good on Xin, but I find it's inferior to Ghost. Feel free to use it though.
isn't as useful in Dominion, however it can save you if you find yourself in a bad spot.
I've not used often enough to get a good feel for, but I prefer Garrison.

Why W over Q?
Personal preference really, feel free to use Three Talon Strike over Battle Cry if you'd like. I find the attack speed is more useful than the small damage boost.
Why W and Q before E?
There are two main skill sequences with Xin, maxing Battle Cry and Three Talon Strike before Audacious Charge or maxing Audacious Charge before Battle Cry and Three Talon Strike. One is more damage focused while the latter gets better speed reduction off Audacious Charge. Audacious Charge also has slightly better scaling damage, however I use Three Talon Strike more often so it balances out. If you prefer maxing Audacious Charge first, go for it.
Basic Combo
E - R - W - Q
Your basic combo will be using Audacious Charge to close the gap between you and the enemy, using Crescent Sweep to do the most damage and get the bonus armor and magic resistance, activating Battle Cry, then using your Three Talon Strike for more damage and knock up. When fighting multiple enemies, try to use Audacious Charge so that the AoE slow hits everybody and puts you in a position where you can hit everybody with Crescent Sweep.

Xin gets a lot of great item choices in Dominion, so let's get right into it.
Boots
Always a solid choice for Xin, particularly in offense focused builds like this one. Attack speed is very important since you'll be stacking heavily with the item build and Challenge.
If the opposing team has a lot of slows or is heavy on the AP, it'd be a good idea to grab these instead of Greaves.
Grab these if you plan to focus on capturing points over pushing the lanes and jumping in fights.
Your second item will be whatever you can afford afterwards, in Greaves case a .
Early Game
Phage is such a good item for Xin, I always grab one early on. It adds a small amount of health for a much needed defense boost and the damage is always nice. The main reason to get it though is because of the passive. Slowing an enemy allows you to keep chasing them when they try and run, and since Xin attacks rapidly it's likely you'll get the slow off.
Good attack speed and a useful passive, although I'm still not sold on it. Particularly good if you want to push the lanes since the passive hits up to four targets. Feel free to skip this item if you want to build your B.F. items sooner.
Not a bad choice, however I prefer jumping right into the B.F. Sword items. You can add this into the early game but since it's rare you'll get a Ghostblade I find it iffy. If you plan on using Ghostblade earlier in the build then grab this after Phage.
Best Friend Trinity
This is your core item. The next three items will all be built from it. The order in which to build them shouldn't be set in stone, find what you personally like and what the situation calls for.
This is such a beautiful item for Xin. Attack damage, life steal, what's not to like? After the speed boost you get from and you'll get stacks very quickly, so you won't have to wait long for its maximum potential to be reached. If you've skipped then I suggest getting this after since you'll want to build the stacks up quickly.
Normally a mediocre item, Xin is arguably the best champion for it. It'll only take a couple of seconds to get the three stacks for -45 armor, and since the build lacks armor penetration (unless you got an early ) this will be needed against tanky enemies.
Replacing , Entropy focuses on damage output. This is an improvement, since although it gives less health, the damage output (particularly from its passive) is a much bigger boost. Even though the slow is weaker at 25% chance and only 30% slow, it doesn't matter as much for Xin since he'll be hitting so often the 25% chance isn't as big of a factor. Even though I build Phage early I get this last, mostly due to personal preference and also since I prefer the stacking passives from the first two. Feel free to get this item first if you feel it makes more sense.
Late game
It's rare for you to ever get this far, but if you do, its got a little bit of almost everything, offensively speaking. You can fit this into the build earlier, particularly if you've built an early .

This build focuses heavily on item stacks. This is a basic demonstration on why it's important to build attack speed to get those stacks. This is attacking at level 18, full build, and after activating Three Talon Strike and Youmuu's Ghostblade. Keep in mind since there's a time limit on the item passives you'll need to be able to land 7 hits in 4 seconds (1.75 attacks per second).
