Ganking is a big part of Jarvan's gameplay. One of Jarvan's biggest strength is his early jungle pressure, he can gank a lane as early as level two after his first buff with his e-q combo. EQ with electrocute can easily half health a level one champion, allowing your laner to secure the kill or force a flash. I usually start red buff regardless the side of the map with Jarvan to pull off the level 2 cheese on either midlane or top (giving me more damage with red burns), this strategy gives your solo laners a huge early advantage, and can easily tilt the opposing laner. It is important to let your team know to not push the wave as Jarvan can gank a lot and deal insane damage in the early game. When lanes are pushed, Jarvan can also invade the enemy jungle as he can duel most jungler pre-6. I would always look to gank bot lane at level 4 then take dragon right away. Early dragons often can often catch the enemy team of guard, but if you get your bot lane to help, with J4's E Active, Dragon can be done fairly fast. Always be proactive as Jarvan and constantly look for ganks or invades as I cannot stress enough how important it is as Jarvan to have a strong and aggressive early game. How the early game plays out for Jarvan can often decide the tide of the game!
