Introduction
Shyvana is a melee champion which main rol I would say is Jungle. She can be builded in different ways, but I prefeer tanky dps.
She has great mobility and you can escape from death in many situations with just using Burnout or in a extremly case when there is no more option Dragon's Descent.
Shyvana has a fast jungle cleaning, you can take jungle creep very quick compared to some junglers, but not really any contundent CC and for this reazon it is necessary to depend in some items like Frozen Mallet or the red buff.
I think with this I cover the introduction and now we pass to the rest of the guide of: Shyvana AOE damage is OP :)
Pros
+ Fast jungle cleaning! + Damage mitigation! + AOE Damage mid/ late game! + Tanky! + Fast move! + Persecution of enemies! |
Cons
- No natural CC :/ - Can be kiteable :/ - Lack of CC can be sometimes useless... :/ nothing in this line nothing in this line nothing in this line nothing in this line nothing in this line |
- Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage: Swiftness is a great option when jungling, but I think Shyvana don't need excess of speed (consider in mind we have already Burnout), as she need early game to do a considerer dps to success in ganks.
- Greater Mark of Attack Speed: This is a must! These runes sinergy with Hunter's Machete and also to reduce the CC of your skills.
- Greater Seal of Armor: Flat armor will give us tankiness early / mid game.
- Greater Glyph of Magic Resist: As the same with armor runes we need also magic resist.
Spirit of the Elder Lizard this item + Frozen Mallet is like have the red buff always active.
Frozen Mallet we need slow target movement to supplant the lack of cc. Also if go tanky we need HP.
Sunfire Aegis this item give to us armor, HP and AOE damage.
Ravenous Hydra More AOE damage + life steal + Damage + active
Right now we are really tanky and with a lot of aoe damage, that is our goal!
Dragon's Descent + Burnout + Sunfire Aegis + Spirit of the Elder Lizard + Ravenous Hydra = AOE damage everywhere!!!
The last item I would say is optional, in my opinion I like more attck speed and that's why I build Wit's End, but I think also is a good option Guardian Angel or simple just build what is needed depending the enemy.
The pro with shyvana is that have a fast moving and cleaning, that means you should be helping a lot the lines, appearing in almost all the dangerous situations. Also you can invade the enemy jungle and get out before being discover.
I let you now some videos I did jungling with shyvana as a didactic entertainment:
