Early Game:

Boots & Health Potion: Always a must start for this champion. It will give you sustain while you poke the enemy and grab your farm.

Berserker's Greaves: This will give you that extra movement and attack speed for when it comes time to take the kill or assist in getting one for your team. It also doesn't hurt to have it for when you need to run away, hehe

Vampiric Scepter: With this item it will help negate some of the damage you receive as you continue to attack the enemy. It also better than always going back and buying health potions.

Runaan's Hurricane: I would recommend rushing this item so you can finish out getting that attack speed. This item has the highest attack speed in the game and not only that with its amazing passive you'll be able to farm very quickly which will allow you to buy your later items much faster.

Mid-Game:

Infinity Edge: Another staple for this champion as it will give her the damage to bolster all the attack speed you have gained but added with all the extra crit damage you have from your runes, your sure to always have a crit strike.

Blade of the Ruined King: Now this item is very different from what you have normally seen on this type of a champion but it works wonders. Not only do you get AD, lift steal, a passive that give you more life steal, but you even get an active that is super powerful. It will allow to do damage based on your AD which we all know it what this champion is based on and you get healed by that same amount of damage you deal PLUS you slow them down as you keep taking their health down faster and faster.

Phantom Dancer: This item will support your Runaan's as it will give you more attack & movement speed.

Late Game:

Infinity Edge: Extra damage for when it counts in taking down those key champions in team fights.

Bloodthirster: To finish the build, this will give you that amazing life steal bonus as you and your team make it towards their base and you heal yourself very quickly after a team fight and look just like you came off the starting line.

Most of this build is all about buying the same items but it because these are the core items to make Caitlyn shine and give your carry that edge in team fights and lane work. The Blade of the ruined King is the only thing different in what I use to build on her but its because of how powerful and damaging it is to the opposing player that gets hit by it.
