No I just didn't like what I read. And Shen does win his lane if he's a good Shen and not someone who only knows how to Ulti when a teammate is low on hp. And I have no idea why you said this is old season 1 material. You clearly need to play against Shen more to realize just how good he can be. After the Ionic Spark removal he might not be as good because Ionic Spark adds a lot to his damage but we'll have to wait and see. And stop being mean.

I have played against a lot of Shens, but no one of them provide a good challenge. I stomp the Shen or he's too tanky for me so it's a AFK farm lane, I have never lost my lane to Shen because he doesn't have the damage output needed. He sustains all day and later teleports out of the lane, that's pretty much the only things that happens when I play against him and I counter his sustain with more sustain from Bloodthirster or Wriggle's Lantern for example.

Not sure how bad the players you have seen/you are, but Shen can't smash in top unless you don't know what the **** you're doing wrong if you lose your lane to Shen. Movespeed Shen isn't good either, it just frustrates you so you want to fight him.

He doesn't win his lane, he wins others with Stand United, so the description for everyone on tier 1 doesn't fit for Shen.

Your list would seem viable in 700-900 ELO sometimes.

*edit*

It's also nice to hear that you don't like when people are trying to help you by saying what's wrong in the ''guide'', understandable why you don't really know what you're doing after 2000+ games... Old season 1 material.

I stopped reading when I read "Shen moved from tier 1 to tier 3" you obviously haven't played against a good Shen player. I've actually seen a lot of Shen players (cause he's freakin op against most lane match-ups but not all of them) and he can dominate hard. Shen Top is just as good as Shen Jungle and I would never move him to tier 3 unless he gets nerfed super hard. Tier 2..maybe..if people find a very effective way to beat him other than pick his counter-picks but Tier 3? Just no.

Dumb reason to put Pantheon in tier 2 ''He can get ganked quite easily and if he does get camped he can fall behind hard.''

Can get ganked quite easily here is dependent on the enemy jungler and top laner and a bit on the Pantheons playstyle. If he gets a Chalice of Harmony and spam Spear Shot all day, good luck ganking him if you don't have heavy CC from Alistar or a pull like Skarner. He can also run into the bush that's nearest his tower and then use Aegis of Zeonia when the jungler/top laner is close enough to stun him/her get a free stack on Aegis Protection and then run safely to his tower.

Garen should be tier 2 at least '' Garen can be a decent Top Laner and does have a lot of kill potential''

Judgment does ******ed amounts of damage if you build Garen AD and of course because he gets free resistances from Courage most people play him AD, the only time he doesn't have a lot of kill potential is when the enemy top laner tower hugs all game. If AD Garen gets fed he will **** on your team all game.

Nasus should also be at least tier 2 ''Tier 2 - champions that aren't the best picks for Top Lane and can get countered but can still snowball a game if the player knows what he's doing and he dominates his lane''

Nasus can do this because if he gets that Siphoning Strike farmed he will snowball in the way of pushing. If the enemy team leaves a split pushing Nasus alone he will win the game for his team. He is also a great dueler because of Wither most top laners are AD and depend on auto attacks to deal damage, also helps ganks.

Tier explanations

Now if you really follow your own tier system it should be like this:

Tier 1 - champions that perform extremely well at Top Lane and can snowball games easily

Cho'Gath, Irelia, Jayce, Kennen, Lee Sin, Nidalee, Olaf, Pantheon, Rumble, Singed, Vladimir and Yorick

Tier 2 - champions that aren't the best picks for Top Lane and can get countered but can still snowball a game if the player knows what he's doing and he dominates his lane

Akali, Darius, Fiora, Gangplank, Garen, Jarvan IV, Jax, Kayle, Malphite, Renekton, Rengar, Riven, Skarner, Teemo, Warwick, Wukong and Xin Zhao

Tier 3 - champions that can survive Top Lane but aren't really strong enough to snowball and keep dominating the game or are just weak in laning phase

Dr. Mundo, Fizz, Hecarim, Kha'Zix, Poppy, Shyvana, Sion, Swain, Tryndamere, Volibear and Udyr

Tier 4 - champions that just aren't good enough for Top Lane these days

Master Yi and Talon

Changes

Shen moved from tier 1 to tier 3

Reason: He doesn't preform any good in top lane but he performs good for his team because of his ult, so Shen himself never snowballs but he snowballs his team.

Pantheon moved from tier 2 to tier 1

Reason: Explained it before.

Vladimir moved from tier 2 to tier 1

Reason: He only gets countered hard by MR, sure Ignite takes away 50% of the healing but why would you fight with ignite on you if the enemy isn't close to death? Otherwise he dominates and has a really good escape for enemy jungle ganks.

Garen moved from tier 3 to tier 2

Reason: Explained it before.

Jax moved from tier 1 to tier 2

Reason: Since Jax was re worked if you don't know all the tricks about him you will lose the lane, and he has a weak laning phase until Empower is maxed.

Renekton moved from tier 3 to tier 2

Reason: Any good Renekton player can build him tanky late game and make him deal a lot of damage, he doesn't fall as hard as most people say.

Wukong moved from tier 3 to tier 2

Reason: Again, any good Wukong player will get a lot of armor pen and do his Nimbus Strike, Crushing Blow and Warrior Trickster combo to **** in your face the entire laning phase and escape most ganks because of Warrior Trickster.

Nasus moved from tier 4 to tier 2

Reason: Explained it before.

Sion moved from tier 4 to tier 3

Reason: Sion can hold his ground in top lane but he can't really snowball because he gets countered by CC way too hard.

Volibear moved from tier 4 to tier 3

Reason: Volibear can also hold his ground in top lane but he's more of a tank than a snowballer so in the end he will deal some good AoE damage for your team and tank them.

So in the end these 2000+ games where wasted because you almost don't understand these characters.

Champions that can top

You missed these for your top lane tier list. Now, I won't go over these because I have wasted too much time already and you don't understand this lane anyways so this will be a ''WTF'' moment.

Alistar, Blitzcrank, Brand, Corki, Diana, Draven, Elise, Galio, Gragas, Graves, Janna, Maokai, Mordekaiser, Nautilus, Nocturne, Nunu & Willump, Rammus, Soraka, Trundle, Twisted Fate, Twitch, Urgot, Varus, Vayne and Zilean

A good nasus doesn't pick nasus against a lane thats gonna try to kill him. I can beat Nasus with Taric. that's how easy he is to shove out of lane, actually.

Sure, he's easy to shove out of lane but it's his pushing power that makes him... well... good. Also, Taric has stupid amounts of armor on his W (not sure, I don't play Taric) and Nasus main source of damage is physical damage, bad example.

I agree with most of it, except for Garen's placement, should be higher. But yay, first place Cho. :p

I do actually but if you think so then okay. This tier list is based on my 2000+ games experience and you thinking I don't know a lot about some champions can just as easily be said about you.
