- Unlike other Tank Top Laners, Mundo doesn’t have CC (you got only Q slow) so the only way to peel your teammates is by dealing damage.
- Dr.Mundo is VERY WEAK early. So try to avoid bad trades because you will be cooked. Your abilities cost HP so you will kill yourself just by farming.
- Mundo doesn’t have damage early, so it’s really hard to kill an enemy laner, but you can expand your lead by freezing the wave and not letting enemy get close by poking him with Q or just simply farming better and scaling.
- You are pretty much excellent at gank setup because in almost every matchup you will be pushed under tower and your Q is low cooldown. Q cooldown is also good for early invade.
- Biggest power spike is Lv.15 (after picking up your passive it instantly resets) and Lv.16 when you become unkillable demon (35% move speed + 85% HP back from R).
- Your E passive converts 3,4% of HP into AD, so Mundo LOVES HEALTH (keep that in mind).
- You can use your E throughout minions to poke (enemy is not always aware).
- If you time your W 0,75s before the enemy deals damage to you, it becomes grey health and after W recast you heal back. By the way, Mundo HATES TRUE DAMAGE.
- Basic macro for late game is pushing Bot Lane while Baron is up (if you have TP). Enemy need to match you so after TP you will be 5v4 / 5v3 or enemy choose to go for you and it’s free baron (This also applies for Dragon and Top Lane).
- Basic combo = Q,AA,E or Q,AA,E,Titanic (It’s very important to use E and Titanic between your Auto Attacks, because it resets the AA animation.

Pros
- Very easy mechanically.
- You improve at the game as Mundo is all about macro.
- Your Q is long range so you can always farm.
- Good gank set up or Lv.1 invade.
- Strong side lane pressure.
- Good in team fights.
- Insane scaling.

Cons
- Very very weak early.
- Some enemy team comps are almost unplayable.
- There are some almost unwinnable matchups.
- A lot of items counter you.
- If you fall behind you are very useless.
- You are easy to kite.
- No CC/Utility.
