AD builds fall short because in the case that Ezreal gets targeted and blown up he will have effectively dealt no damage with his ultimate.

AP Ezreal fails because he deals no damage after blowing up an enemy champion and cannot secure kills very well.

Hyrbid Ezreal just blows people up.

This build works in ranked play well.

Simply because Ezreal is often countered as an AD champion and not a hybrid.

Keeping Mystic Shot at Level 1 makes deals a bonus 20 attack damage and costs a puny 35 MANA!

That's insane.

So you're telling me i can attack people from 800 range away and it won't hurt my mana at all?

Score.

On top of that Essence Flux and Arcane Shift both deal 300 damage very quickly.

Simply attack and last shot with Mystic Shot since we leave it at such a low level it hardly even cuts into your mana.

Stay back until you can farm Sheen and Boots once you have these items roughly 1.1k gold. Focus on the champion or champions in lane.

After a few champion kills, or a bunch of minion kills about 1.8k gold worth return to base for Hextech Revolver and Boots of Swiftness.

Whenever at base fire your ultimate into a lane for a potential assist kill or creep farm, since it has such a low cooldown.

This next part is user optional.

I finish the Hextech Gunblade before Manamune for the lifesteal and extra spell vamp.

After you have these items finish your build.

Sometimes I choose:

Flash Exhaust

Ghost Flash

Flash Ignite

Clairvoyance Clarity

Exhaust Ignite

Or the ever so popular Revive Rally

Avoid Tanks and stunners, Amumu Renekton They can and will be gay to you.

Take out carries and or support Lux Ashe Sona Soraka Janna Twitch Evelynn very quickly.

That is your job.

Let the tank insert, you shouldn't have to chase if you're good with your ultimate.
