Introduction

Hello, fellow Summoners! Welcome, to my first guide! My name is lietuvis9x. I'm playing on EUW since about beginning of Season 3. My rank is all over Platinum, but at the moment is Platinum 4. I've started to play Volibear again and I just enjoy this champion with the new devour so much I can't even describe. He has awesome level 3 ganks and also awesome counterganks. Passive and W, are just way to good to hate this champ.

CONS



- Passive countered by Ignite
- Weak while on CD
- Easy to kite
- Hard to get close to the enemies with a lot of CC

Just get it after doing red/blue camp, so you can get a good gank on the lane. You don't need to max it first or second, since it has no huge damage only that awesome throw over the head.



One word: epic. Scales with HP. The tankier you are, the more dmg you do. This ability must be maxed first, if you want to rek enemies. Attack speed and cooldown reduction makes this ability even more unstoppable.



Great ability to max second, after doing small camp to get an easy red/blue, since it helps by "scaring" minions. Also great slow against enemies.



Scales great with attack speed, the faster you hit, the more damage you deal. Great ult also to kill huge minion waves, since it has small cooldown, or to do dragon/baron.

Not much to say here. My personal tactic with Volibear :

1. get lvl 3

2. go to top

3. if your toplaner is pushing, wait for enemy jungler to countergank him (against most junglers easy 1v1)
if you toplaner is being pushed come in slowly, let the enemy Flash/ Ghost and then catch him up with your Thundering Smash - Flash combo.

4. easy first blood

Volibear

is a great champ. Also not so hard to master. Fun to play and really entertaining to watch how much damage you do with your W to the enemy adc or apc. In early phase could 1v1 alsmot every jungler. Of course, Volibear suffers under Ignite. It makes his The Relentless Storm pretty much useless. I am enjoying this champ. Played it season 4, loved it. Started playing it now again, loving dem 75% Win ratio. Easy to get first blood on top on enemy jungler or top laner. I would suggest you to try him out!
