Hello, I am currently gold 1, and I LOVE FIORA. The number of games we have been behind due to overfed carries and still won, amazes me. No matter how fed the carrying champ is, if they arent building against you then you can always kill them. If you survive or even dominate your lane long enough to your core, hydra youmuu's and last whisper then fiora wrecks anyone in teamfights. She is so ridiculously strong that I dont believe I need to play a different champ other than if I'm playing against a jax.

For runes, your armor pen will do much more for you, laning phase and teamfighting than ad can ever do. The lifesteal combined with your passive, and with your dorans blade is your essential key to sustaining for as long as you can. The scaling armor and magic resist is there because now, it is much better to have scaling runes for armor and mr than flat.

The masteries are pretty standard, I prefer to ignore the armor magic pen as I feel like the magic pen is wasted on fiora and other masteries provide more worth.

To get the most out of fiora, you MUST get these items, you want the Hydra to sustain, and push, as well as giving amazing teamfight damage when you have no ult. The youmuu's is nearly as essential, and as unused it seems to be on fiora I am surprised at how amazing it synergises with fiora; it allows an escape to ganks or engage in teamfights, the armor pen does amazing damage for your ult and the crit chance works with the hydra, although it is very small. The last whisper is your major boost for armor pen, once you get to a certain point, their team WILL buy armor, all you are is damage, so all they need to do to shut you down is stack enough armor for you to be able to do nothing. That is also why you must build the black cleaver once you are finished with the last whisper. The best defensive item you can get is a guardian angel, in teamfights all you need to survive is your ult and your damage at the time to kill them. Buying mr and armor is really bad as it does not let you do as much at all if you built damage, the guardian angel lets you buy time for your q to come back up and let you kill off anyone left. Finally, your boots... if there is cc go merc treads... but otherwise always go berserkers greaves, if you are full build, sell your boots and buy a zephyr.
