This is a guide about, how to play Brand as a second AP-Champion for your team, who does not need blue buff, stuns like a madman, has great survivability, spams 24/7 and still bursts enemies down.
The idea of this build is to rush for 40% CDR, so your stun will have 3.6s CD and 2s stun. Just insane :) Additional you get enough manareg and life to stay in teamfights for a long time.

My masteries are nearly standard for AP with 9/0/21, but I only spent 1 poit in Intelligence, because u already reach 40 % CDR with the other masteries and items. You can also go for 10/0/20 if u want to dominate earlygame with 10 additional AP by Burning Embers.
allows an easy escape from ganks or to get in range while chasing enemys.
makes me get more kills in early game and my burst much harder.

I use stndart early game AP-Runes with Brand so iget some HP, MPen, AP and Mreg

AAll this runes are primary and work great with Brand, they make him especially in early game very strong.

Most important for your skilling order is Pyroclasm > Sear > Pillar of Flame, Conflagration.
Your first Skill on max must be , so you have a lower CD on it and you can stun more often.
Your and are equal you have to get their first rank early, but after this u can pick both og them. Of cause you take ultimate if possible.

You can start with and 2 health poison for early game, if you are solo lane and have to stay at your lane a long time, or and 1 health poison, if u want to play aggrisive or you can go bot with SUP / a good laner.
With your first item you will build so u have some AP and Mreg. After this go for your , you can also take , if you are fighting a CC-based team.
Next item should be Kage's Lucky Pick so you get money for a while.
After theese items you should analyse the enemy's team, are they focusing you, do they have anti-mage champions (Kassadin, Veigar) or champion with a huge burst (Annie, LeBlanc)? If it is the case then go for [icon=Banshees Veil before building , soyou are safe in Teamfights. If their team is not that dangerous go for at first.
Now use your Kage's Lucky Pick to build . Then go for and or for items, which are usefull to fight special teams ( vs. high magic resist, vs. full AD team etc.)

In 1 vs. 1 fights your Combo should be

this way you can stun your enemy very fast and make all of your skils hit perfect. Try to use your ulti only if there are minions next to the champ otherwise it won't cause that much damage.
In teamfights you should try to burst a squishy with the 1on1 combo down, or you try do deal huge AoE damage with

and use and do kill champions how are on low hp.
