4. TheStoneWall: This is for the ultimate. Like I have stated a few times, his Ultimate is very situational. You can and will die. Suggestion is 1) Wait until a few enemies are near your turret, the taunt will force the turret on them, and the damage they take to increase, increasing the likelihood of a kill or getting a champion low enough to chase and kill. Wait until some champions are lower OR you have an AOE champion like a

Runic Skin-(Passive) Galio converts 50% of his total Magic Resistance into Ability Power.
I'm pretty sure that this is self-explanatory. This passive comes from his item choices which I will go into more depth on later.
Resolute Smite- (Active) Galio fires a concussive blast from his eyes, 60 / 115 / 170 / 225 / 280 (+0.6) magic damage near the impact location and reducing enemy movement speed by 24 / 28 / 32 / 36 / 40 % for 2.5 seconds.
This move is part of the nuking capability that
Galio has. This combined with
is your nuke. This is also a perfect combo with
as you can use
and at the end of it, you are sure to be able to get this skill shot off to ensure that your enemy is slowed EVEN more. This is a skill shot, so practice is everything, and you won't hit it every time, but if you learn the skill and get better at it. It can be a very effective move for team ganks, as well as team get aways.
Bulwark - (Active) Galio shields a friendly champion for 4 seconds, increasing their Armor and Magic Resistance by 30 / 45 / 60 / 75 / 90. Each time that unit suffers damage, Galio is healed for 20 / 32 / 44 / 56 / 68 (+0.3). (-20% healing for each consecutive hit)
While it doesn't grant invulnerability, it does help enemies resist magic and physical moves especially when low. This move helps make
the strong support champion that he is. There have been numerous times playing him where I have saved an ally from an
ult by popping this on, and the low cooldown makes it useful for getting it on someone else trying to get away. This in combination with
can, if your allies are decently intelligent, lend itself to a clean getaway from an enemy gank.
Righteous Gust - (Active)
unleashes a gust of concussive wind that deal 70 / 115 / 160 / 205 / 250 (+0.8) magic damage to all enemies in its path. A directional draft remains for 5 seconds, increasing the speed of allies by 20 / 24 / 32 / 36 %
This move has so many uses, as do all of
Galio's moves. Both this and
Resolute Smite can be used as a nuke combination, as well as a get away. The speed boost allows for a speed increase and
Resolute Smite can be used to slow enemies down in order for you or an ally to get away. This move is great also for initiating a team gank, as you can boost someones speed enough to catch a fleeing enemey, slow/stun them, and get the kill. This move has many uses, it all just depends on the situation.
Idol of Durand- (Active)
Galio channels for 2.5 seconds, taunting nearby foes and blocking 30% of incoming damage.
After channeling, Galio deals 220 / 330 / 440 (+0.85) magic damage to surrounding enemies, plus an additional 10% damage for each attack suffered while channeling. Max 80% bonus damage.
I cannot stress enough how situational this ultimate is. While all of
Galio's moves are incredibly situational, this one is by far the most. I've seen many
Galio's charge into a team fight, ult and think that they will kill an entire team, when in fact it takes off MAYBE 75% health off of the few champions they catch and said
Galio typically dies afterward. You must play this ultimate at the right time, this really can decide team fights if used correctly. I will go over more about some suggestions I have for combo's later in the build.

Dont engage team fights without harassing your enemies 1st. You can play agressive after all galio is very tanky. You need farm for this build. As an AP you can win against most mages in midlane, thanks to
Galio's passive,
Runic Skin. Your build should focus on MR and AP. This will make you simply outdamage most other casters 1v1. The only disadvantage you have is the fact that you're melee. Even though you're focussing on damage, you will still become pretty tanky. Your AP will be 850.057 From
Arhangel's Staff
which is OP anyways :D

Defend your team m8s at all cost even if you need to die. Youve got 2 spells (

Playing this game is all about team work. Youve got to get points for yourself but youre nothing without your team. You have to be ready to make some compromises for the win. If you think only about yourself you allready lost the game and are proclaimed as a noob and reported as an unskilled player. If you think you have to take all of your playm8s into consideration including the spells they have and the environment around you. If your team doesnt comunicate with you its up to you or them but usualy they will comunicate and swear ALOT frustrated morons. -.-
