Before we start, you need to learn how to play Garen. Playing Garen is comparable to playing Zed, it requires a lot of knowledge and skill. Lets imagine this situation for example, Garen, looking like a beast level 6 with Ignite and flash. Jax, level 5, currently tilted from taking so much spin to win damage.
In this Situation what would you do as Garen?
1. run (who do you think you are? Gangplank?)
2. CHARGE
3. DEMACIA!
4. JUSTICE

Jax used his spinny Lamp Post to block your q, but you spin and ignite and press R. He dies anyway.


DEMACIA
Screaming doesn't help you kill him. But he's definitely scared now.

You charge up to Jax and press R. He spins his spinny staff and takes you to pound town. GAME OVER.


If you answered 1. Well your a coward but at least your not as stupid as number 4
If you answered 2. Good job
If you answered 3. well you're cooler then I am but wrong choice if you want to win.
If you answered 4. You have a lot to learn.

You have three options. Play like a coward and freeze, Push like a legend, or just play Jungle dude. Jungle is just so much easier. Garen's clear isn't even that bad and once he gets level 11 he's practically invincible. But you came for top lane, so to freeze you can watch any guide. I'm not about this, I'm Garen. What you do during laning phase and you push harder then a Tractor Trailer trying to Pick up a Giant Arsenal of Snow. If the Jungler comes top say something like "Lee Top" after you die. If they're bad you'll double, but typically you'll just say "Lee Top."

So at about twenty minutes, or fifteen or twelve depending on who you ask, laning phase ends. However, to Garen this just marks the second chapter of Laning Phase. Laning phase might be over, but while your team is teamfighting 4v5 and saying "Report Garen" keep pushing top lane. When they send 5 top, and you have nearly the entire jg warded, tp bot. This is a strategy I call the "Blitzkrieg" you just keep pushing forward until the enemy finally surrenders. (Does not work if you are fighting against Soviet Russians, do not attempt this strat against 1. Volibear, 2. Swain, or 3. Singed. He's the founder of the Blitzkrieg after all.)

Using this Guide you'll win at least 60% of all games you play. For me, I had higher, until they deleted stormraiders. It dropped after that to 58%.
