While clearing the big buffs like Red and Blue, use your E after you shoot your second shot to get an extra one. And use that extra shot to continue kiting the buff and take the least amount of damage as possible.

When it comes to Graves' ultimate look to use it as an execute on low health enemies. The distance is great and most times you can kill someone backing or running away without them having the time to react.
