Udyr is one of the most durable champions on the rift if you build him right it is hard to stop him. His jungle clear along with his passive allow you to take advantage of early game mistakes. This guide will help you learn the champion but you have to put in the time to truly understand objectives and how to be a great team player.

Cons

Although Udyr is a very mobile champion it can be hard for him to get to some lane champions such as; Zed LeBlanc Ziggs Vayne. His only true gap closer is his Blazing Stampede which makes him very susceptible to being kited by enemy champions.

If it aint broke. Find a way to break it.

>>>This rune set is for the untouchable Udyr.It offers boost in core places for udyr. You could use magic resist quint if dealing with high AD laners just all depends on preference. Greater Seal of Armor Greater Glyph of Magic Resist and Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed are key.

If your searching for a kick azz Fury champion that has undeniable fast clear jungling time and is a boss, look no further. Udyr is a great jungling champ who's late game tank and movement speed are unparalleled. He has the ability to harass and poke enemy champs and get away with barely a scratch. If the other team doesn't game-plan and there jungler gets behind watch out. Late game he can and will sway the odds of a team fight with just one claw.
This build was mostly inspired from watching trick2g styles and through a plethora of gametime playing with this champion. This is an annoying build for enemy teams to deal with and with its high burst damage from Feral Flare as long as you farm your jungle, you will be a nightmare with lots of tank-ocity lol. It's a fun build and as I grow and learn im sure it will too.

Start off Blue buff or Red buff depending on who your jungling against. Always clear wolves or wraith camp immediately, look to ward and steal other teams red buff. Keep vision ward's up at all times in case the opponents jungler is dumb enough to step into your jung. NEVER MISS A RED BUFF!!! and clear your jung until you reach level 4 when you get Blazing Stampede. You might have stolen red buff so you are the scariest champion on the map, you should be the same level as the enemies mid lane or on level above. Look to harass poke and destroy enemy lanes. A key aspect is to not let your mid laner get behind and try and get your top lane ahead. Harass and poke mid lane whenever you get the chance and if you get a kill all the better. It will make the game a lot easier on you.

Jungle Pressure

One of the most important rules as a jungler is to have great map awareness.. 2nd most is to never, EVER, EVA EVA EVA, give away position or a gank. Remove Vision Ward and keep your own vision wards up. Make sure as the jungler you are one accord with your laners. Don't go in too early and don't go in too late.
~ Make sure that you communicate with your laner. A simple ping or 'go' will give him the all clear to make the call. A tip that I can give is when your opponent has to come close to you to take a cs. This way, he'll be more exposed than if he was waiting at the back line of his minions.
~ Always, I repeat, ALWAYS open with turtle stance. It activates Udyr's passive Bridge Between and blocks initial attacks to Udyr while you then go head in and stun and burn that victim to the winds. Combined with your teammates and buffs, you should be able to deal a nice amount of damage. Keep spamming Turtle Stance and give chase with Bear Stance. Remember, Udyr is a very good wave pusher and dives turrets at an impeccable pace. This is due to his natural tank-ocity, shield from Turtle Stance, and combined with [feral flare] minion waves don't stand a chance. After doing damage, bear stance out of there leaving behind a trail of destruction.


>> As with any champion, you become prone to ganks if you play too aggressively and overextend. Ganking Udyr can be somewhat difficult, as he is able to easily slip away and take minimal damage. Unless they have a lock on dash, getting to Udyr can be pretty hard because as soon as you see the gank coming, you're spamming Blazing Stampede and getting out of there. Even if they do manage to get to you, they'll have to stack CC after CC to pin you down and get you. Just spam Blazing Stampede and Iron Mantle to avoid as much damage as possible.

One major key to not overlook as jungler is patience. A perfectly timed gank can change the whole momentum of the game. Dont be over eager to gank. Remember the most important part of the gank is putting your team ahead and moving a step closer to the next objective and the Win.
