Doran's Blade Sheen Boots of Swiftness Trinity Force Bloodthirster
Ended up going 10/0/7 in ~35 Minute game where they surrendered and our tank dc'ed for about 5 minutes. Never had mana problems with the runes and a Sona with Mana Manipulator and didn't require the golem buff.
Gotta say it worked quite well.
What to do now?
Leaguecraft
Or you could try Clarity Seals and Glyphs... Chalice is a good option, too. Mabe the new item Manamune (Tears of the Goddess + Long Sword + 500G) will solve the problem.
Dang! That's gonna be nice! Definetly something worth trying out ^^. It doesn't have the same amount of mana-reg as Chalice of Harmony though :/
This item could make hybrid builds viable! :O
Edit: Where the heck did you find those patch notes? They're not on the official website nor on the wiki..
- 7 Mana per 5 seconds
- 20 Attack Damage
- UNIQUE Passive: 2% of your maximum mana is converted to attack damage.
- UNIQUE Passive: Whenever you attack or use an ability your maximum mana is increased by 4. (2 for attacks) This bonus caps out at 1000 mana.
Anyways I reworked my build and it's even better then before :)
I find myself constantly scrounging for a bit more mana with Ez. He isn't crazy mana hungry BUTTTTT for the situations when My team and I were in a long *** teamfight and I was ripping mystic shots and flux and AS like a mad man that extra mana means I'm not worried about not being able to use AS if I need to run. It's preference though to me I just like the added security, well within my mind Im more secure with more mana.
That's exactly why you should use my advice.. You won't have to rely on the golem buff to be able to spam your spells. I can guarantee that giving it to any support or dmg caster on your team will benefit your team much more.
maybe you should replace doarn's blade with a frozen mallet or trinity force. just a suggestion
I don't think a lot of people end up in games where they achieve a full item build. If they did well they either got fed or both teams couldn't push to save their lives and people laned from 1-18 never having to return to base. Otherwise dropping Doran's Blade to open a spot for Frozen Mallet would be worth it at 110 minutes into a game ;P. Most of the time especially arranged teams matches are like 40-50 minutes and if you even it out that's roughly one core item every ten minutes thus fufilling a full 6 items in a build takes 50 minutes. ((Not counting the one minute thirty seconds or so for minions to spawn.)) So by 50 minutes the game is nearly over or getting there. You either keep Doran's blade or sell it and are able to get a phange or a piece of phange and then the game is over and it's a wasted effort. :/ Just my thougths and OF COURSE there are games that go on forever and people get everything they want and then they are beastly and rape everyone....Those games are when Doran's blade can be sold and you can grab whatever you want :). Sorry for the wall of text, I'm at work and bored ****less so posting these lengthy responses to questions not even aimed at me=WIN/ cure from boredom.
But why should someone who doesn't necessarily need the golem buff get it? Most casters have more use of it than ez.. Ezreal isn't crazily mana-thirsty, so it's better to leave it for those who are..
Btw; it's not 950g, it's 890g.
Well? What do you think is wrong with my calculations? I can't explain something without knowing what it is..

I go:
Boots + 2 or 3 Health pots and 1 Mana Pot in the begining. This provides me with a lot of staying power in a lane. Always harrassing with mystic shot and AS if I feel comfortable.
First return to base: Either buy or start making the brutalizer.
2nd return: Buy or start building Tear of the goddess to upgrade it later on to the Archangel's Staff for some bonus AP on my other attacks.
3rd: Start building a black cleaver.
4th and 5th: Finish black cleaver build Blood thirster
6th: Build another Cleaver. I lose out on a lot of survivability but I benefit. This is just what I've been able to build most times out with this Combo build....So in essence it's your's but I change a lot...I guess lol. +1 keep cranking out solid builds.
EDIT: I completely just reread this and realize I forgo some of the items. /facepalm. All in all though still solid and the ideas are purely there which makes this build useful.
that you just don't use all your abilities.
The problem I see with AP Ezreal is that his AP ratios are bad. The problem I see with AD Ezreal that in a teamfight it is pretty hard to focus down opponents because you have to snipe them with your mystic shot through their tanks and melees. I don't think I'm too stupid to position myself correctly, sometimes it's just dangerous to do so.
After I played AP Ezreal (before the essence flux nerf) and AD Ezreal (after...), I came up with my own build. It's a hybrid build and I do pretty well with it. After the Core-Build you decide either to get more Physical or Magical Damage, so I'm able to adapt it when I need to. I would like to hear your opinion of it though.
