Such a terrible matchup for Irelia, actually it's winnable, but you have to play extremely smart and safe and usually wait for jungler's help. The most important thing here is to make him waste his ult and make sure to fight him only when you have minions around you that can allow you to disengage and re-engage if needed.
Like for the most champions, it's scary matchup, but also very winnable. If you see him Q and you can't dodge it, Q on him so you don't get stack of his passive and makes him heal. Play safe until you get at least Tiamat or Sheen, level 6, after that go with shorter trades when you have 2 Q resets and make sure your passive is fully stacked once you all in him.
Very stupid matchup, since Garen is stupid champ xD. His Q can ruin you everything and his R does so much damage. Don't ever go for shorter trades with him since his passive is SICK. Let him waste his Q, stack up your passive, dash around minions while he is spinning and all in him. He is dead.
One of that hardest matchups, but very winnable if you play smart. Like versus any other champion trade with him so you can dodge his E with Q on a minion, once he wasted it he is very vulnerable. Make sure you also win 1 or 2 shorter trades, then all in him, since Jax is a monster in long trades. Makes sure to stomp him in lane since he outscales you a lot.
It's a hard matchup because of her tankiness and also her damage can be insane. Make sure not to stand close to the walls. Engage her once she wasted her W since otherwise you can't dash on her and try to deny her from picking up her shield.
Much stronger then you early levels, so play very safe, makes sure to dodge his Q, especially 3rd cast, you can just Q on him. You out scale him after several levels, but it can be anoying because of his ult. Whole point is to make him waste it.
Didn't mention it in the Extreme threat group since it is more of a skill matchup and depends how good Fiora is. She is countering you, but it is also very winnable if you play smart around her vitals.
Pretty boring matchup, he is sooo tanky, but also he can't kill you. Look for the plays elsewhere.
Pretty much even and skill matchup. Depends on a lot of things.
You are generally stronger at all levels, especially early levels, but only if you don't fight her in her ultimate.
Be carefully level 1, or she will kill you. Level 3 you can fight her as well as later on, you are stronger but it is also a skill matchup.
Play safe until level 3. Then you can fight him easily. It would be good if you get early Cloth Armor and a Long Sword for instance, it will make it much easier for you since he is very squishy early on. Later he outscales you so try to stomp him completely.
First few levels very strong, play safe. After level 6, you are good to go. But it can be tricky because of his passive. Play smart.
You are much more stronger then him early. PLay super aggro, you can oneshot his Guls with your Q. Later on he is strong split pusher and don't fight him if his ult is up - NEVER.
Very strong first few levels. Don't fight him when his Fury is stacked. Also you can kill him whenever from level 3. And you out scale him pretty much.
Boring first few levels because of his poke and damage. After level 6 he can't do anything to stop you.
Funny matchup. Just play safe first 3 levels, then you are good. There is not way you can lose this lane.
Very easy matchup, try to dodge his knockup and you are good. Later he can a monster so try to destroy him since you are always stronger then him.
You are much stronger early game. Deny him farm as much as you can. Later he will beat your ass no matter what, but try to stomp him early since you are stronger and don't fight him in his E - NEVER. Also you can easy make him to waste his ult.
First few levels boring poke. Later he can't do anything against you.
Champion Build Guide
I am Irelia main with more then 500k mastery points and in this guide I will try to help everyone who wants to know on how to play her. First thing you have to know is that Irelia is very versatile champion. She can be a good split pusher, but in my opinion her kit screams: TEAM FIGHT, TEAM FIGHT! When your Q is down you are not a champion, but when your Q is up and you manage to get one or several resets on your Q, you are a MONSTER! Irelia's is a champion with a one of the best out play potential, especially when you have minions around you. All comes with experience. A lot of people were claiming how OP she is, but it's not true. She has many counters and also those counters can be outplayed if you know how to play her properly. She is one of the champions that seems hard, but somehow you learn to play her very fast, but the thing is, you didn't learn it. You know ****! You need a lot to master her and use her to her full potential.
