This is my first guide ever, feedback and criticism welcome.

I main jungle and top lane in Silver league and I have started to main in Master Yi jungle recently as of the past 3 weeks and he in my opinion is one of the best junglers to date.

For Marks you want to get flat attack damage, which is generally what i use.

For Seals you want flat armor, will help against counter jungling and taking less damage from camps.

For Glyphs i use flat magic resistance runes which are a standard for junglers / top.

Purple flat AD Quintessences are always useful to add onto the damage that the marks give you.

21 points on offense pretty standard on AD Yi's to help with the damage.
9 points on defense to help take less damage from the jungle, again pretty standard for junglers

Smite Helps with clearing jungle standard as always, use smite whenever its up unless it is at the early levels where it is essential to clear the camps, the 10 extra gold is always nice even if it is just to kill a minion.

Teleport combired with homeguard boots are just nothing next to amazing, catching a AD Carry with no support or backup gives you a free kill, or even without homeguard when you see a lane about to give first blood or be in trouble, teleporting in just helps them so much and just gives a better map presence. Aside from all that it is also just useful for split pushing.

Exhaust even though i don't use it frequently, it is a good spell on Master Yi since he lacks forms of crowd control but i still prefer teleport on Yi just because of the utility on him.

• Mana dependent
• Needs high farm or kills to be effective
• Not the greatest in team fights
• Is best with manaless mid laners

The best opening for Master Yi that i have the biggest success with is the following.



Wolves > Blue(Smite) > Wraiths > Red > Golem (Smite) > Teleport to help lanes / Gank / Back and grab madred's razor and boots.
