Hello there, Shadowbloodedge here writing another guide. I'm here to discuss a build I have created for Kayn. In this guide I will discuss how to effectively jungle and scare the life out of your targets.

Pros and Cons (Kayns?)

Kayn is quite possibly one of the best junglers released so far. He has the ability to completely adapt to what the game needs. Enemy have way too many tanks? Go after them with Rhaast and his ridiculous percent max health damage. ADC giving your team issues? Shadow Assassin will melt them with his bonus magic damage and ability to sneak up on them.

For the Pros and Cons here, I will split them between Shadow Assassin and Rhaast

Shadow Assassin
- High burst damage
- High mobility
- Great camp clear
- Lockdown Mages, ADCs, and other squishy targets
- Able to move during W

- Squishy
- Sustainability issues
- Tank combat issues
- Can't switch forms after choosing

My personal favorite form because im partial to assassin junglers, You can glide through terrain longer and it makes it easier to shut down adcs in the back line of team fights but when it comes to actually teamfighting he will be destroyed. They will target you instantly do to your burst capability.

- Insane damage with max health percents
- W Knock up
- Q W R abilities heal
- Can actually stay in team fights

- Oddly enough takes a lot longer to kill ADCs and Mages
- Low mobility
- Can't transform out of this form
- E doesn't give tenacity or extra movement speed

Rhaast is the most used form in my opinion and probably the one you will be in most of the time. He heals for all his abilities, can sustain in teamfights, and does max health percent damage. He destroys tanks and is generally a menace. Hes alot slower than his counterpoint and against ADCs he doesnt do near the amount he would as shadow assassin.

Runes Reforged

Runes Reforged

Domination and Precision. Electrocute will proc on a full combo, Q procs sudden impact and eye collection just makes you stronger. With Shadow Kayn, Ravenous Hunter helps so much with extra healing on your abilities. Kayn doesnt have alot of mana honestly and presence of mind will definitely help with that per take down. This rune config is good for both forms.

No matter which form you take, taking Stalkers Blade with Warrior is the best way to go.
That being said:

Shadow Assassin

Duskblade is the next immediate item . Its broken and rounds off your cooldown reduction and combined with your E or bush prowling it detonates targets or Youmuu's Ghostblade. Same damage and cooldown reduction but you get a massive burst of passive speed and activated speed as well to help with fast ganking and escapes.

Mercurial Scimitar is a great follow up for this build. CC cleanse with some added protections against magic, greatly needed life steal and a decent burst of damage. Alternatively Bloodthirster will give you a massive damage boost with double the life steal and a shield for survival. Also Deaths Dance works exceptionally well on your abilities.

Edge of Night is a great ending item due to the lethality buff and the shield or finish with a standard Guardian Angel

Dont forget the boots you need to suit the situation.

Deaths Dance is just plain dirty on Rhaast. Ungodly amounts of healing plus the healing factor on all abilities WHICH already heal you for quite a large amount. It also rounds out your cooldown. Ravenous Hydra is also a good pick due to its damage and aoe basic attack and lifesteal.

Maw of Malmortius, Bloodthirster, or Duskblade are fantastic options here. Lifeline plus the magic resistance and cooldown make it very useful. Bloodthirster to spike more damage and lifesteal. Duskblade if you need to eliminate the more squishy targets in game but this is highly debatable if its worth it on Rhaast.

Sterack's Gage is a decent item to end Rhaast on. The health buff and base AD boost will help in late game heavy team fights. Just remember Maw's and Sterack's passives dont stack but rather work almost in tandem, just no stacking shields. Alternatively, Frozen Mallet is a monster on Rhaast. Much more health and extra damage

Dont forget the boots that suit the situation

The Clear

Start Red Buff Take your Q first, E next to health thru the wall. Use the burn and healing you get off red buff to kill Raptors and Krugs. Check the bot river scuttle. Return to your topside jungle or attempt a counter jungle but just be careful. Kayn is literally half a champ until he transforms for dueling its gonna be terrible.
