Champion Build Guide

KILL'em ALL - Master Yi - Top (8.3)

Master Yi is my (Top) main. Playing him takes patience, especially against ranged champs and AP champs. If you don't have patience Yi may not be for you. He is a LATE GAME KILLER though. I 8 out of 10 times get 1st kill. I run and hide in the middle top bush and if the enemy comes looking or gets close enough I quickly attack first before they see me, this is where having the heal comes into play. It will keep you alive to get the last hit against enemy champ. Against ranged champs attack minions farthest away from ranged champ and alpha strike the one furthest away as well so if they do hit you it will only be one hit. If there are only 3 minions or less and the enemy champ is near them, you still hit the minion furthest away and the enemy champ will still get hit from alpha strike.

Skill Sequence

With Master Yi there is no complex button sequence to remember since he only has one attack ability and one buff ability, well 2 counting his Ult. When the moment is right, or you've just had enough (hopefully you have a potion on you and everything is up and ready to go) you hit your Ult and then alpha strike the enemy champ, as soon as the alpha strike has completed you immediately hit you E, wuju style, so your basic attacks do more damage. Heal when you need to, ether a potion or Summoner spell heal if you took some big hits and need more life now instead of later. Flash to catch up if they flashed away or if you're not going to get the kill, before you die, flash away. I will also use meditate if both champs are low AND they have already used their ult, to shield and heal, while alpha strike is finishing its cooldown, then alpha strike as soon as it's done or right as it's finishing. This usually gets the kill for me. Meditate takes about 4 or 5 seconds so I try to time meditate to where my cooldown for my alpha strike is at around 5 secs to go, so it will be ready to go when meditate is done.
