Introduction
Hey guys! It's AntiFaker AKA LC Lëƒinnîe in league. So I will share my preferred Champion (Lux). Which is mostly I pick when I go Mid-Carry (So basically, I go Support and ADC sometimes.) Lux has very good spells and damages, AoE Damage, A protect kit for her and allies, One of the very fine Burst-Mage for me.

So for gameplay, Start with the basic Doran's Ring, 2 pots and wards. Your goal here is to win the lane by poking your enemy in lane. But Lux is a skillshot-based champ, which is a bit hard that's why you have Q to get that kill secure. Poking might be easy if the enemy is like Orianna, or Annie. Which is an advantage for Lux. Fighting enemies like Katarina, Zed, Yasuo (Idk why but it bothers me) is a big disadvantage for Lux. So you must be cautious when fighting and place wards where the enemy jungler will gank.

This is my style of play for map awareness:
Yellow stars - For Basic Wards
Light Red stars - For Good Map Awareness
Dark Red stars - For Situational And Standard Purposes Only
________________________________________________________________________________
As you can see, I've listed out how to wards in midlane. So that you can see in the minimap if the enemy jungler is at top side or bot side. Which will give your team the advantage to go aggressive or play safe. I go for the Dark Red stars when the enemy midlaner and jungler is roaming too much. Also you can wards the outside Dragon or Baron. It helps your team a lot too.

For Runes:
________________________________________________________________________________

________________________________________________________________________________
So basically. This is my favorite runes for Lux.
________________________________________________________________________________

________________________________________________________________________________
Arcane Comet, great for Lux with her binds and slows which can hit the comet better. Its a pretty good basic runes for Lux as it helps her poke enemies and get a better damage in the early game.
The Ultimate Hat, is pretty good on Lux plus her ulti cooldown reduction when it kills an enemy champion. Which will make you Ult like one of the basic spells (Literally making it so OP to Lux)
Transcendence, Really viable to Lux. Is a great rune for her to fill up that cooldown instead of buying Ionian Boots.
Gathering Storm, A late game rune that is very good for adding up more AP in every 10 minutes.
Hextech Flashtraption is a good offensive and defensive rune for Lux. And always use this when you're out of the map (Much better when you're in a bush, behind a wall.) so that you can make a move that can make your enemy be surprised as you'll Q+E+Ult him/her.
Cosmic Insight. Which make your cooldown exceed to 45%. Also gives 5% cdr to items and summoner spells

These are other useful runes for Lux:
________________________________________________________________________________
Summon Aery - Instead of Arcane Comet, Go for Aery. It is very good for poking as it applies on skills or auto-attack.
________________________________________________________________________________
Manaflow Band is pretty good with Lux when it comes to mana and mana regen. Its like a semi-Archanghel Staff. It is really neat for Lux.
________________________________________________________________________________
Nullifying Orb not really a good rune but can save you some time when you're fighting an AP-heavy enemy in lane. Like an extra defense for your survivability.
________________________________________________________________________________
Celerity. A movement speed based rune. Its pretty good on her too rather than taking Transcendence that can sidestep some skillshots and add some movement to it too.
________________________________________________________________________________
Scorch I go for this rune some time so that I can easily finish off enemies in a bit.
________________________________________________________________________________
Electrocute. Can be a good rune for Lux if you want to have that pressure on your lane. And you can just Q+E+Ult them that procs your Electrocute which gives you a burst amount of damage.
________________________________________________________________________________
Cheap Shot will give you a bit of True damage if you bind or slow them. Can be good with your E for more poking power. But you need to land your E before recasting it again to get that True Damage
________________________________________________________________________________
Eyeball Collection Which stacks up in every kills (2 eyeballs) or assist (1 eyeball) including ward takedown (1 eyeball). And will give you an additional of 10 AP if it reaches 20 stacks of eyeballs which is an equivalent of 30 AP. Pretty neat huh?
________________________________________________________________________________
Relentless Hunter I go for this rune for extra out-of-combat movement speed so that I can go back into lane faster and help other lanes out.
________________________________________________________________________________
Presence Of Mind, a great rune I might suggest. Is good n champs who relies on their Ult (Like Zilean, or Kayle) and gives mana every enemy takedown (Kills or support) which will help you back up in teamfights when you are almost out of mana.
________________________________________________________________________________
Coup De Grace A good choice of damage if your enemy is kind of squishy (Orianna, Corki, like those champs with low defense)
________________________________________________________________________________
Cut Down. You'll only pick this rune if there's 2 or more tank in the enemy team. This will help you to have some extra damage against tanks (Like Galio, Cho'Gath or Vladimir)
________________________________________________________________________________
Magical Footwear. Can be a good option rather than Hexflash. Which will give you a free boots and +10 more movement speed than the regular boots.
________________________________________________________________________________
Perfect Timing, can't be used for at least 10 minutes but still a good rune for that extra buff to that Hourglass.

Early Game
In early game, there are some options that you can use:
In early game, don't always go aggressive on the enemy rather focus on cs-ing. This will give you the gold advantage and have some items faster than killing the champion. Also you might want to facecheck some bushes just to make sure that you're not in trouble getting in a 2v1 fight. Or maybe ask for help so that your team can get the first blood or burn up the enemies summoner spell so that he/she will be a bit cautious and play safe.
________________________________________________________________________________
Mid Game/Late game
Mid and Late game had the same purpose. Your focus here is to kill the squishy ones (The ADC or your enemy in lane.). It will be much better if you can fight them off while you're protecting your allies to keep them alive as long as the enemies are falling apart. After that, dewards for a bit (If you're carrying an oracle in the middle of the game). Support is not the only one who remove wards. On this phase, your team needs some map control. Wards up on places with high chance of enemies walking into other lanes (Outside the dragon/baron, near the red/blue buffs) and get the objectives as soon as possible. You don't want your enemy team get that buff tho. As it will change up the game as soon as possible.
In early game, there are some options that you can use:
-
- Getting an advantage against your enemy is a good choice (From Creeps score or a first blood might do the trick)
-
- If your enemy has some good mobility (Like LeBlanc, Katarina or Zed). Play safe because he/she will be a bit aggressive because Lux is a skillshot-type champion and has no mobility.
-
- Focus on lane freezing. That will be good.
