 Jungle
guide, my name is MiningRicK and iam a silver player. I play League since season 9 but learned in the past more and more about items, runes, abillities and champs in League. Since the beginning I love to play Leona and my first favorite role was
jungle
so I tried to play Leona in the
jungle
and I think it works pretty well. You have with your CC a so great gank setup and farming isn´t that easy for Leona but it definetely works. So try It and have fun with this Guide!

Pros and Cons

PROS
+ very tanky
+ can deal good damage as fighter-tank + very good early game lvl 3 + amazing gank setup + enemy can´t move, great CC + isn´t that difficult to play Leona in the
jungle
is a very tanky champion. But she can also deal good damage with Press the Attack and Titanic Hydra. In combination with the tanky items she is a biest! As well she has fine early especially on lvl 3 and an amazing gank setup where she can get easy kills or supports while ganking. Another Pro-argument is that she has tons of CC so the enemies can´t move and in gank situations often a free kill for you or your teammates. Leona is for everyone because with a little bit training you and others can master her! |

CONS
- farming isn´t that nice, bad clear - can easy get outjungled - once out of game, can´t do that much to come back - must hit skill shots = Zenith Blade Solar Flare- 1vs1 are sometimes difficult to play The Cons on Leona
jungle
are a bad clear because she hasn´t abilities that do a lot of damage to monsters, so it isn´t that nice. Because of the bad clear she can get fast underleveled when she also gains no kills. That´s why Powerfarmers are her biggest Threat they will clear all
jungle
monsters and your
jungle
will they clear too. If Leona is once out of game she won´t come back so fast, then she is only a little bit tanky and unimportant for the game. In the Pros I sais you must train her a bit, what I mean with this is you must train to hit her skill shot´s Zenith Blade and Solar Flare. In some situations you can fight 1vs1 with Leona but in total be careful and fight with your teammates. |
Runes
| Press the Attack |
|
Leona can use Press the Attack very easy because of the tons of CC she have. As well it gives your good extra damage and in my view the best keyrune for Leona in the
jungle
.

| Triumph |
|
Triumph give you the life back from ganking or 1vs1, also it give you gold (20 gold for every kill or support) and with Leona your main task is too gank so for my playstyle a nice rune.
|
| Legend: Tenacity |
|
Legend: Tenacity gave you more tenacity and this is for tanks every time great. You can increase the stacks by killing your
jungle
Monsters or getting kills by ganking.
|
| Coup de Grace |
|
When you have a succesful hit with your skill shot Zenith Blade you have your CC combo and deal good damage. Normally your combo don´t one shot the enemy, so he will do his combo and if you fall under 40% of your life here is Coup de Grace! Now you have your Q Shield of Daybreak and the extra damage of Coup de Grace to kill your enemy target.

| Cheap Shot |
|
In the second tree I am going for Domination and not for Resolve because Resolve give you more tankiness what you can also use but I like Domination for the extra damage and Leona has enough tankiness. So I go for Cheap Shot probably the best rune for Leona in the Domination tree. It gives your more damage if you CC a Champion and like I said in all Chapters Leona is a CC bot.

| Eyeball Collection |
|
Like I said your main task is to gank and with ganking you get kills or supports. With Eyeball Collection you get for every support or kill more damage (1,2 Attack Damage) (2 Ability Power) that sounds not that much but you get more kills and supports and you will scale with your attack damage a bit.

Turbo Chemtank Your task with Turbo Chemtank is to activate the active and run, when you gank on lane and then insert your Q Shield of Daybreak to stun your enemy first and after Q you insert your E Zenith Blade to root your enemy. Also Turbo Chemtank give you great stats.

|
Mobility Boots The Mobility Boots give you great Mobility like the name says. It´s always great to catch an enemy when you gank.
|
|
|
|
Dead Man`s Plate So at first Dead Man's Plate give you again 5% Movement Speed which is a bit helpful, as well it give you Armor and Health to stack it for the tankiness and the Extra Damage on Titanic Hydra. Last but not least it give you a powerful Attack.

|
|
|
Titanic Hydra Titanic Hydra is one of the most important Item in this Build on Leona
Jungle
. When buying Item it give you 30 Attack Damage and 500 Health. At first 30 Attack Damage don´t hear that much but it scale with Health and both item´s you bought before give you health and Titanic Hydra too. So you get good Attack Damage. Also the second effect is very strong because you can clear the
jungle
much better.

|
Abyssal Mask Most time the Midlaner do AP Damage so here is Abyssal Mask it give you Magic Resist and health to stack also for Titanic Hydra. As well your teammates do more damage to enemys when you stun them.
|
|
|
|
Warmog's Armor Warmog's Armor is a great end for the items because it give you Health and Ability Haste. Health is very good for Titanic Hydra and the Ability Haste for spamming your Abilities.
