When to Build what?
So when it comes to Mf I feel she is very diverse looking at itemization. She can go full ap, full Ad, Support, or a hybrid of them. But I recommend that you only go Ap if your going mid or support, maybe even top. And As for Ad I would build it if I'm adc, support, top, or mid. I don't think tank will work unless your top, even then it's iffy. I've tried jg it doesn't work the majority of the time, though it can work.
