Intro: Riven: GOOD GUY RIVENS EXIST?!

Even though I am still terrible with Riven, yes. I am a Good Guy Riven; An unfortunate rare spices of the Riven kingdom that actually enjoys themselves when playing Riven, and not going full tryhard, full ham, or full Tyler1 mode every time they pick riven.

All about Riven:

If we're talking about the Average Riven Players, chances are you can mop the floor at them, or tilt them to afk. If we are talking about players that actually play and master Riven however, then those chances turned to terrifying to fight against.

Riven is an All-Round Aggressive Quasi Top Laner that has almost everything an Aggressive Top Laner needs. Riven also excels best with Combos including with her Auto Attacks for the Passive. This is one of the main reasons why you tend to see Rivens to either have Box Box Syndrome or Tryharding their pants off, were they need to Calculate everything in their heads with their combos as if they think that's the only way to "Win the Lane or afk". Riven requires Tons of Patience to be truly mastered, as she has a lot on her plate to learn; such as 3rd hopping to certain small walls to escape or engange shortcuts, 'Auto Attack Canceling', Dancing to Top Lane constantly yet correctly (Even though it's the most easiest thing to do.) etc.

Riven is one of the best Top Laners in the Game for several reasons, but average Riven Players tend to only see: Damage and 'Dancing their way to Diamond' with impatience, which is were Toxic Rivens or BM Rivens come to play. (And Please! For the Love of Scarizard, at least wear something else other than Battle Bunny Riven. Thank you. :>)

Pros / Cons

Pros:
+Can do a lot of BS yet Impressive Plays up her sleeves.
+One of the Best Aggressive Top Laners in the Game.
+Mobile enough almost equally for both 1v1 and Teamfight Scenarios.
+Has a Ranged Execute Skillshot for Players under 25% Health (or somewhere around up to the 600-800 HP Mark when level 16)

Cons:
-You can have Pro Plays Syndrome. For Riven, she has Box Box Syndrome.
-People tend to play Riven with impatience and therefore tilting them or spiking their salt[/.color]
-Requires a lot of both indeterminate and complex Masteries to become a Pro Riven Player.
-Average Riven Mains that one trick ponies her are usually still not experienced enough to even come close to Gold, meaning that they are just a somewhat more 'evolved' version of their Toxic Siblings.

About the Builds:

Aggressive Riven:
Everything that Riven does Scales with AD. So why not build into as much AD as you can Possible? Start up Doran's and Pot, and Imminently rush for Titmat for the AoE and Activate, and then go for Black Cleaver for her Maximum Early game Potential. The Rest is so you can have as much Damage as you Possibly can, with the Biggest Numbers of Attack Damage. It sounds dumb and expensive on Paper, but holy hell does she also feel unstoppable to beat at the same time. :P (You can have up to 584.4 AD alone, without any Runes helping you.)

Defensive Riven:
Worrying about Dying, or just want to have a Practice Build in General for Riven? Riven can also help you out with her Situational Defensive Build of HP and AD; Allowing her to be more of a relaxed as an AD Bruiser. The Idea with this build however, is with the intention for the Titanic Hydra and Late Game purposes other then a practice build, so If you had won with this build before late game, you could have an easier chance winning with her Aggressive Build, which is why I say it's Situational.

Utility Riven:
Number Wise, Utility Riven is a Mixture of almost going full ham, but not being a complete scaredy cat at the same time. You don't have Hydra to help you out, but instead you have Last Whisper to back you up for Late Game against Tank and Brusiers. If you are confident with you're farm that you don't need a titmat with you, the I would reccomend to give Utility Riven a shot.

Crit Riven?:
Sounds wierd, but this can Actually kinda work. Kinda. You Become more Poke-Relaient, but your Abilties will do less damage since they don't proc with riven with crits. If you want to mess around on the other hand, or if your sick of hydra and want to try something else, This Build can be fun. I put the Shard up there, because you build into either Rapidfire Cannon or Shiv.

Spells:

Oh, and By the Way. Riven is one of the Only Champions in the Game, where she can't go wrong with almost any of her Spells. Just PLEASE Don't put Ghost on Riven. It's not Worth the Movement Speed.

Riven's OP Skins: Sleeper OP/Broken (9/10)

For the Riches: Championship Riven is no longer a Rare, which puts them into Full tilt. Thier still going to use Battle Bunny Riven, if all things come to fail.

For the Standards: Arcade Riven is my most Favorite Skin. ^-^ But, All the other Riven Skins are pretty Unique too, Even Crimson Elite Riven.

LCS Approval: Challenger I/Challenger I (27/23/27)

TL;DR: AD Top Lane Version of Lee Sin Intensifies.

Full Info: Riven is BS. Riven is also Terrifying and Scary, and then back to BS. She is powerful, and she does A lot of things well in the Aggressive version of the lane. Even Has AoEs and a Shield with her Abilities plus a mini Sheen for her Passive, and In the right hands, she can show you a true definition of a PENTAKILL with Bold Letters, before being sponsored by an 'Ace!'. The real problem about Riven is how people tend to play her, were if you had actual good Communication and Teamplay and not 'top riven or ff', None of those Rivens would be As Salty or Toxic as they should be. Again, Riven Requires a LOT of Patience, before becoming a Good Riven player, and that's a lot of Riven Players that they unfortunately cannot offer.
