You're not made to go against Ahri with this build, but this build prioritizes in staying away and keeping your health up during the laning phase. Your dorans shield should keep you health on par with hers, with her passive. And Zhonyas can help you get out of a charmed pinch.
Anivia
You probably wont kill Anivia in the laning phase, but she shouldn't kill you. This build reduces the temptation to bind. Binding Anivia only makes it easy to guarantee a stun on you. If you keep your distance and poke with Q, you should be able to poke her away from the farm enough, and maybe secure a kill.
Annie
Annie is easy peasy for Lux to begin with. This build reduces your burst potential early game. But Annie can't touch you where you can touch her. Just, be sure to bind tibbers and run with your W.
Brand
Boy does this guy hurt. He will be able to do more damage to you, then you to him. Just as long as you don't let him get close enough. What doesn't make him an easy threat though is that Zhonyas pretty much completely negates his ult.
Ekko
Ekko is very deceiving for Lux. You think hes a goner but suddenly he's on your tail. Try to bait his ult before you ult him. he will try to tower dive you and escape with his ult. Bind, Zhonyas, and Shield under tower, ittl scare him off.
Fizz
Ulted you? Zhonyas. About to land on your head? Zhonyas, and bind him and make him pay. Poke, bait his jump, bind, deal your damage, and press that hourglass if he tried ulting you back.
Heimerdinger
Dinger is easy to deal with no matter what. Harass him with E constantly. If he tries to stun you , evade and throw shield just in case.
Karthus
Karthus ult? Not a problem. karthus anything? Not a problem. This is an ap champ you have a much higher chance of killing with this build, you shouldn't die to him.
Katarina
Save your glass for her ult. Thats it. The rest is shielding when shes near and poking when shes far.
LeBlanc
Danger danger. You can have these runes but yikes don't build this against her. Sitting still with lb is you just asking to be tooted and comboed right after. Zhonyas may be a great thing later in a game with her, but not now.
Orianna
Ori does counter Lux to begin with. And this build isn't going to help you keep up with her burst. The best it can do is save you from a gank if you're close enough to tower.
Lissandra
Xhonyas doesn't help you with much against Her in the laning phase. Normally you can go pretty even against her. But if you do this, do your best to be constantly disengaging with shield and just focus on farming and staying alive and getting out when she gets too close.
Ryze
Hes not much of a threat against you to begin with. His range is just too short. if you want to kill him though, make sure that when you bind him and begin your death sequence, that you don't get too close to him, or he'll give you massive burst damage. If you're low just go to your tower, he may try and ult you, but a quick zhonyas will scare him off.
Syndra
Dontget too close or she'll stun you. Your q range is just about her stun range. But the payback is tht you can safely poke, and, zhonyas stops her ult from slinging anymore balls at you.
Talon
Talon is, naturally, your worst enemy. If you didn't ban him to begin with, you should from now on. This build can help you survive. But do not. Engage on him. Do not. Keep him as far away as possible, get your farm, stay close to tower, and your build should save you if he ults or engages. But don't expect to kill him, dont chase him, dont waste your abilities on trying to kill him, unless hes a really bad Talon. If all goes well, you'll make it to midgame without having fed him, and being about to contest him in teamfights.
Veigar
Shields away. Just spam that pretty much.
Yasuo
Can you evade his tornado's most of the time? Can you poke him with E after he's used shield? Can you not walk in his face on purpose? If you answered yes, then prepare to tilt Yas off the face of the Earth. His health bar will slowly wittle with your E poke. And if he dares come near? Shields away! (just dont throw the shield into his wind wall. Or your q or e) He tries to ult you? Zhonyas. Auto's?Armor. And once you've got him low enough health and snared, it doesn't matter if his wind wall is between you. Lazers aren't projectile. ;D
Zed
Can you spam a shield when he's near you or has a shadow near you? If yes, then what a CUTE LITTLE KITTEN. Your ability to harass him in comparison to his ability to do anything to you is huge. You'll keep wittling him down with E. And once he's low enough the only thing stopping you from destroying him is your ability to land a snare. You'll have your free stopwatch by the time he tries to ult you the first time. And then you'll probably just kill him right after. Then it's zhonyas and say goodbye Zed ults for the rest of the game.
Oh Lux, my favorite champion. Many people wonder why I never ban Zed, or Yas while playing her. Firstly it's because Talon is a much larger banning priority with Lux. And, because winning a lane against those AD assassins is easy peasy if you don't follow your normal play style. Why? Because they're used to destroying you. They'll do stupid things because they think they'll get you. But you'll continue to poke them and use your e to grab some CS as well. And you will continue to sheild your way through every attempt they make at damaging you. You'll have armor and health regain early game, and if the do manage to hit you, you'll slowly gain health back. And, you will be able to successfully deny all attempts they make of killing you as long as you don't get too cocky yourself.
