Introduction
I play him a lot myself and he is really fun to play with and this is the build I personally use. So I hope you enjoy!
Cons -
- Weak to targeted crowd control.
- If abilities used incorrectly, can be left vulnerable.
- Focused a lot.
- Naturally squishy.
Pros -
- High AOE Damage.
- Can be hard to build against because of his true damage.
- Can easily 1v1 any champion.
- Q makes him untargetable.
- W makes him deceivingly tanky.
- Difficult to catch due to his high movementspeed.

9x Flat AD Marks
I take 9 Marks of Attack damage because I feel it gives me the right amount of attack damage to get through the early clear quite efficiently.
9x Scaling armor Seals
I take 9 scaling armor Seals because as Master Yi, you will have enough sustain and clear speed that you won't need the flat armor Seals but, if you don't have Scaling armor Seals you can take the flat ones instead.
9x Scaling CDR Glyphs
I take 9 scaling CDR Glyphs to get the maximum of 40% CDR in the later stages of the game, this pretty much means your R has little to no cooldown, and this is nice for very obvious reasons.
3x Attack speed Quints
Finally I take 3 attack speed Quints for the same reason I take my Marks, just for better clear in the early game.
Passive - Double Strike
Master Yi strikes twice every 4th consecutive attack. The second attack deals 50% of your attack damage, applies all on hit effects and can critically strike. This is a very straightforward Passive, it just gives Master Yi an extra free basic attack every 4 basic attacks.
Q - Alpha Strike
Master Yi becomes untargetable and jumps to up to 4 nearby enemies dealing 25/60/95/130/165(+100% of attack damage) physical damage to each unit hit as well as 75/100/125/150/175 bonus damage to minions and monsters. This skill can critically strike dealing (+60% of attack damage) bonus physical damage. Basic attacks lower Alpha Strike's cooldown by 1 second. This is a very good ability to clear Jungle with, as with a few levels into this ability you can start to one shot your camps.
W - Meditate
Master Yi channels for 4 seconds, restoring 30/50/70/90/110 health per second. This amount is increased by 1% per 1% of health that Master Yi is missing. While channeling, Master Yi gains 50/55/60/65/70% damage reduction. This amount is halved against turrets. This skill is great for sustaining in jungle and getting health back in team fights by simply going to the side when you get low and using this ability to pretty much get half your health back.
E - Wuju Style
Passive - Increases Master Yi's bonus attack damage by 10%.
Active - Master Yi's basic attacks deal 14/23/32/41/50 (+0.25 per bonus attack damage) bonus true damage for 5 seconds. Master Yi loses the passive effect of this skill while it's on cooldown. This skill is very straightforward you gain extra damage while it isn't on cooldown and you gain True damage when you use this ability.
R - Highlander
Passive - Champion kills and assists reduce the cooldowns of Master Yi's other abilities by 70%.
Active - For 7 seconds, Master Yi gains 25/35/45% movement speed and 30/55/80% attack speed and becomes immune to any slows. While active, kills and assists extend the duration by 7 seconds. This cooldown reduction helps in getting your abilities back a lot faster especially when you combine it with your 40% cooldown reduction yourself. Do not be conservative with this ability (use to get objectives faster or to escape/ chase someone down) as it has a low cooldown and you will get it back fast.
Master Yi is a very farm heavy type of Jungler that scales up really nicely. He also can spilt push very nicely due to his passive and the fact that he can 1v1 pretty much any other champion. His W makes it so he can cut heavy incoming damage from the enemy team so it is quite hard to focus him down unless you can permanently cc him to death. Overall if you like a farm heavy, fast type of Jungle style champion with great late game potential, Master Yi is the Jungler for you!
I hope you have enjoyed my guide on Master Yi Jungle! I would appreciate feedback, let me know how I did for my first ever guide!
