Her 3 dashes, both inside and out of your ult will be annoying as hell to fight against. Rylai's and Protobelt come in handy against her.
Master Yi
Free food, not even a hyper fed Yi can stop the strength of a 3 - 4 item Mord. Play aggressive early and ult him immediately in a fight.
Graves
Basically a jungling ADC. Free food, just play aggressive
Kindred
Same thing as Graves, but better at kiting, and if not killed immediately, can extend the fight with Ult. Landing E will be vital.
Gragas
Gragas can go toe to toe with you whether building Tank or AP. Can easily outplay your ult with good dashes over walls.
Hecarim
Doesn't have the damage output to stop a strong Mord, but can do decent damage and possibly catch you off guard if hes ahead with a couple kills. Plenty of items to deal with his healing and tankiness too.
Nocturne
A well timed shield can block your passive, but will still get obliterated if you land your E + Q combo. Use one or the other to bait it out.
Rammus
Ok.
Kayn
Mainly all melee junglers are free food for Mord, and Kayn isn't an exception. However, Red Kayn will whittle you down pretty well. Kayns will always play around their ult, so if hes going in, prepare for a prolonged battle. Liandry's and Morellos will be good here
Evelynn
Free food. Play aggressive,
Volibear
Dear god, If you plan on playing Mord Jungle, Ban him immediately. High damage, High defense, whats up with this guy?
Twitch
Free food, play aggressive.
Warwick
Warwick, alongside Red Kayn, will eventually outheal your damage. Great thing about mages tho, we have items for that. Even so, an ult from him and a follow up from his team can leave you in a rough spot.
Amumu
Tank or AP, this guy won't be much of a problem for you.
Shaco
Make sure to not ult the fake one, if thats even possible. Pops just as easily than the rest, but may be a bit more slippery than most.
Udyr
Udyr has great early game, and a 1v1 at level 2 could be your end. Make sure if you do fight him early, get at least your junglers item first.
Real high tankiness, but can't do enough damage to kill you. Just don't focus the guy and he can't do much.
Elise
Her spiders can do a huge chunk of damage, and can stall your ult with hers, but after shes exhausted all her spells, she pops easy.
Jax
Jax players usually like to be aggressive, making it easy to ult them. Though, they play aggressive for a good reason. All stages of the game he goes even with you, assuming you are also equal in gold. Dodging E and landing your E will be imperative.
Fiddlesticks
Not exactly free food, but still play aggressive. Good fiddles have a tendency to wreak havoc on a team, but if you ult him early in a fight, it'll free up your team to play more aggressive.
Camille
I'm not locked in here with you, YOU"RE LOCKED IN HERE WITH ME
Ivern
He won't be an issue. Whoever he's shielding, will be.
Kha'Zix
Really just a fight to see who can one shot each other first. A well timed W or Zonya's cancel this uncertainty out.
Olaf
His high damage and healing make him a hard target. Coupled with his ult, you're going to have to rely on luck and skill to kill this guy. Can ult and cancel your ult.
Pantheon
New Panth rework has made him into a force to be reckoned with. Haven't gone against him in jungle, but I can predict his extremely high early game damage will easily outclass yours.
Tryndamere
Crazy damage as well as 5 seconds to just freely wail on you will end you. Zonya's is a must.
Jarvan IV
His burst isn't enough to take you down with a good W. He makes his own arena so you don't have to waste yours killing him.
For most of the champion matchups, assume you, as Mord, has around 10+ Dark Harvest stacks, as, before this, you'll be aiming to just get Dark Harvest stacks, kills are just icing on the cake. Also, every matchup assumes they don't just buy QSS. If they buy QSS you're F̶u̶c̶k̶e̶d̶
Why I made this guide.
Real simple. I was bored and I really wish to see more people play DH Mord. His 1 shot potential is crazy, and killing people within the League Of Legends is pretty fun. Tank Mord falls off and isn't even that good of a tank to begin with. Mord will always have to gravitate to some AP items to function, so why not go all out?
Why Dark Harvest Mord?
In my opinion, Dark Harvest has been one of the most fun keystones in League, right next to Unsealed Summoners. Mord's insane early damage output, as well as his E, makes it easy to get stack after stack of DH. With a high aggression playstyle and the sheer effectiveness of his E + Q combo, getting fed with Mord is an inevitability.
Abilities
Q will be our main source of damage here. The 40% bonus solo damage, as well as a Dark Harvest proc will net you legendary damage. The full amount of damage dispensed from the Q can come from the handle to the end.
Well timed Ws will be vital in surviving close fights throughout the entire game. While jungling, try saving as much shield as you can, as an unexpected encounter with the enemy jungler can easily turn towards your favor with a full shield. Outside of fights, pushing lanes and gaining large amounts of shields through this can sustain you for a much longer time. The more you're on the field, the more Dark Harvest stacks you can get.
E's passive magic pen is another reason as to why Dark Harvest is such an appealing keystone. Passive aside, its active can net you kill or DH stack on a fleeing enemy if they are out of range of a Q. Practice using E to drag units away from you as well. Positioning your E behind you will lead to healthier jungle camps as well as clutch saves if someone is trying to all in you. Mord's E is a Swiss army knife of utility and damage, being a great offensive and defensive move. Learning its variety of situations it can be used in are another part of his kit you need to keep in mind.
The stat steal from the ultimate as well will lower the HP pool slightly, giving you a better chance to pop pimples. Many abilities in the game counter this though. For example, Fiora's Riposte, Olaf's Ragnarok, Gangplank's Remove Scurvy, and many more.
Core Items
Even though you will be doing much right-clicking in the jungle, the healing from both the passive and q is heavily needed to survive early jungle. Mord jungle clears fast, but not exactly healthy without red buff and a real solid leash. You could instead opt for two Health Potion if you are confident in your jungling, as sustain from Indestructible and Stalker's Blade - Runic Echoes can keep you afloat later.
After these core items, this is where you have to judge the situation for yourself. Rylai's Crystal Scepter is a must first buy for Mord, plays with his kit immensely, but after this item, everything else is going to be up to your judgment. Squishy ADC's and nukers? Void Staff and Rabadon's Deathcap with maybe a sprinkle of Zhonya's Hourglass. Tankier brawlers building against you? Liandry's Torment and Morellonomicon. Dashes? Escapes? Hextech Rocketbelt early. Great thing about mage items is that they give great stats and there are many of them to fit into a lot of situations.
Situational Items
A core item after your jungler and boots but I'm putting this here for a small reason. If the game drags on towards the latest stage, where everyone is full build, the stats on Rylai's Crystal Scepter aren't going to cut it. I usually sell this item for a Rabadon's Deathcap when at 6 items
Depending on the enemie's line-up, skipping this item entirely might not be that bad of an idea. The main point of Dark Harvest Mord is that we are building for his Obliterate to one shot, and if we have time to stack laindry's torment's passive up, then we have failed. A good purchase if there are 2+ bruisers or tanks. Otherwise, heavier AP items will be better.
