*Abuse your Lv 3 against champions you can. Land an E Q auto and follow them while you auto + your passive Darkness Rise. After you gather enough shield energy use Indestructible to negate all their damage

*Look to hit lv6 first and all in them with Realm of Death

*If you are ganked, use Realm of Death to dodge abilities like a nunu snowball. Usually, R the person you can kill OR R the person who cant kill you. Then retreat to the edge of shadow realm and ping for help.

*Once you heave your first item, if you are even or ahead, you will be able to crush any melee characters even with their jgler. Use this to dominate lane and carry your lead.

*Look to ult the biggest threat on the team. Check to see if anyone is building QSS. If they are, either wait for them to use it for something else, or ult someone else.

*If you ult a master Yi for example, do not look to fight unless your know you can win. Pop your full shield and Zhonyas while your team wins the teamfight outside.

*Ulting a nunu will mean his ult only affects you. ulting an illioa will remove all her tentacles from the map.

*ulting the Jgler will negate them from smiting drag/baron.

*once you have your passive active, you can zhonyas in the middle of a fight for massive AOE damage. Works best with Rylais + Liandrys

*split push when TP is up but for the most part stay with your team.

*ult either defensively to peel your team/ADC, or offensively to pick an out of place carry.

*Only trick: Q then Flash. Most people don't expect this. If they are low enough you can fake a Q at a minion then flash and kill them.

*Use Death's Grasp in front of you while someone is chasing to pull them away from you. This may sometimes save your life.

*Master your ult and know when to use it. Remember your ult steals base stats, so use it when the enemy laner is their strongest, IE Aatrox ult, nasus ult, renekton ult.

*Dodge skill shots with a well timed ult

*If your caught out of place, ulting the weakest enemy can be beneficial. ulting the support will land you the kill and buy you time for team mates to arrive.

* Realm of Death locks down opponents. Think when this can be useful. Stop a TF or shen Ult. Prevent a Zac from entering baron pit ETC

*Your ult removes everything except the two champions and structures. If someone wants to dive you, ult them under your tower to eliminate their minion wave. Seek to do aggressive damage as your tower shoots 1-2 shoots at them. this can usually force them to back

*While sieging the nexus, you can end the game by ulting the support and then continue hitting the nexus inside shadow realm. The support will not be able to do anything
