I have been playing league of legends for about 5 or 6 years, and in that time I have played support and jungle, mostly playing off-meta champions, such as Yorick support. Probably because of my troll picks, I am still bronze, so this guide will not have much in the way of strategies.

Soul Siphon (passive)

Morgana's passive is what makes her jungle easier than a lot of mages like Evelynn. She gets a 20% life steal from her abilities, allowing her to sustain much longer before her first back. Because of this, she looses a lot less health on raptors.

Dark Binding

For ganks, this is your primary weapon because of the long root duration. It also makes it a lot easier to kite some of the jungle monsters, such as red buff. If you want to stun someone with a spell shield, such as Sivir's Spell Shield, try to get someone in lane to bait it before you engage, otherwise the gank will be worthless.

Tormented Shadow

Of all Morgana's abilities, this is probably the best ability while in the jungle. It provides great healing from Soul Siphon, especially on raptors.

Black Shield

In the jungle, Black Shield is useless because all of the jungle monsters deal physical damage. Despite that, it is very good in fights, because you can negate any ability. If you are about to be stunned, just use the shield. You can use it on yourself or other allies.

Soul Shackles

Soul Shackles is hard to get used to. It works great if you already have an enemy rooted in Dark Binding. It is often a good idea to use her ult in conjunction with Zhonya's Hourglass because it does not interrupt it.

Engage

For most of your engages and fights against jungle mobs you want to do this combo. It can be hard to hit Dark Binding, so if the lane you are ganking has a stun, slow or root, just use Tormented Shadow on the target.

Ultimate

The use of Zhonya's Hourglass is not strictly mandatory, although if their team will focus you, be sure to use it. If Zhonya's Hourglass is still on cooldown, using Black Shield is a good alternative, especially for a cc heavy team. It allows you to still follow people around so it is harder to escape Soul Shackles.

Jungle Items

Since Morgana has a couple of crowd control abilities and can build slows, going Stalker's Blade is not typically a good solution. I would recommend buying it if the enemy team has a lot of dashes, such as Ezreal. It is almost pointless against champions with a gap closer, such as Lee Sin, because once they dash to you, it can be hard to escape.

This should be your go-to item as Morgana jungle. It provides a nice damage reduction to enemies, which is especially useful against ranged champions. I would also recommend using Smite with this item on enemies that are already within melee range.
