ABOUT ME

I'm Noris and I play Nocturne. Since I'm from ASEAN server, Mobafire can't verify my account's elo as platium.
Nocturne has been my most favorite champion since I bought him on April 3rd 2014. Having played Nocturne for more than one year, I decide to introduce my latest guide.

ABOUT THIS GUIDE

As the title, this guide aims to show you how to build a Nocturne assasin. With this build, you can completely have a kill in less than 2 seconds. My best record was 0.68s! Not only you can kill but you also can control the game with 4 example builds based on 4 situations you will most likely to face with. Enjoy the kills! ^^

Runes

In this guide, I want to build an unstoppable Nocturne who can win in every 1vs1 fights.

As you can see, Nocturne's strength is depend on his atk speed which help cooldown the Umbra Blades for more damage and sustain. 20%(RUNRES) + 20%(Shroud of Darkness's PASSIVE)=40% Atk speed is fast enough.

3% Life Steal at early game is the secret weapon of this guide. Large amount of health make you more confident to gank or kill enemy's jungler. I'll explain in Jungling chapter later.

9 armour just to keep balance.

7.5%(RUNES) + 2.5%(MASTERIES)= 10% CDR will let you use Duskbringer & Shroud of Darkness more often to fight or escape from enemies at early game.

CORE ITEMS

Let's start with the Blade of the Ruined King. This is the most essential item to Nocturne since it increase atk speed, damage, life steal, a little more cc. Its dealing damage on enemy's health percentage help Nocturne duel with tank easily.

Next one is the Youmuu's Ghostblade. Some people ask why they should buy this. Here is my answer, the Youmuu's Ghostblade gives you 10% CDR to use Paranoia more often, 20 armor penetration to duel with tanks, 20% movement speed to chase or escape, 40% atk speed to finish enemy's carry faster. If you finish your assasinating job in less than 1s, you will probably have 5s to run away or kill someone else.

Last stuff of the core is the Ravenous Hydra. This complete the combo of "3 active CORE". If you have to face such assasin like Rengar, Talon, Zed,... who can kill you in 1 combo, Hydra will help you kill them before they do.
