Aatrox

Aatrox is a very tough match up for Morde because he has very large passive healing from his main sources of damage and if it's a good Aatrox you won't be able to fight him and you'll have to play safe and wait for jungle ganks.

Akali

Akali was recently nerfed to the ground and was slightly buffed. Even when she was borderline tier broken, Morde still decimated Akali in lane because he could tank all of her damage and on top of that she was REALLY squishy.

Camille

Camille is mainly a hard match up because her engage is really good and has a passive shield that is actually pretty big. Also her ultimate is like your death realm except you can escape by either killing her or flashing out. The worst part is how much health and damage she has. Play safe for this match up and try to win trades.

Cho'Gath

This match up mainly depends on how early in the game you are. Late game you won't be able to kill him on full ult stacks however early game he does no damage and is pretty squishy meaning you can easily beat him in duels early.

Darius

This match up isn't impossible but it is difficult because Darius's hemorrhage stacks can really cripple you whether you're tank Morde or mage Morde. Also he can catch you out and does a lot of damage and heals quite a bit on his Q blade.

Dr. Mundo

Mundo isn't very difficult when it comes to top lane match ups. You mainly have to dodge his cleavers and death realm him ONLY when his ult is down and you are sure of it.

Fiora

Fiora is a very difficult match up for Morde because she's very good a dueling and has a spell shield that can basically completely waste your ult. To beat her you have to hit those juicy bonus damage Q's. Also wait for jungler ganks.

Gangplank

The main reason that Gangplank is here is because he can just use his W (which is his orange) to just leave your death realm and walk away. Gangplank would be a bigger threat but he's hardly picked.

Garen

Garen isn't difficult if you know what you're doing. In the case that Garen commits and all ins you, you'll win the engage because you have better dueling potential and sometimes you'll be tankier than him.

Gnar

Little Gnar is good against Morde because he has the range advantage and can bounce away from you in death realm and when you pull him. Mega-Gnar is actually easier than little Gnar because you have tenacity from runes and in some cases boots. Death realm will make easy work of little Gnar after he loses Mega-Gnar.

Heimerdinger

Heimer is actually pretty easy. Pre six he's very difficult to fight. But when you use death realm his turrets don't follow him into the death realm giving you a free kill even if he stopwatch's or uses hourglass.
