Thresh is a unique and versatile support that offers a very highly rewarding gameplay style that doesn't fall off at any stage of the game. With his zoning and CC his lane pressure matches some of the toughest supports in the meta with his Death Sentence and Flay. He's currently one of the best supports you can pick up with the capability to play with any ADC in the meta and dominate lane. Thresh anytime your team comp needs some heavy cc/peeling capabilities. Thresh Death Sentence applies a lot of pressure with it just being off cooldown, and with its range, you are sure to be able to catch people mispositioning. Peeling for your team is also easy with Flay cancelling most movement abilities such as Zac jump

Glacial Augment on Thresh allows him to enhance his utility and crowd control capabilities. This rune allows Thresh to slow down enemies with his Death Sentence and Flay making it easier to set up plays, catch opponents, and provide peel for your team. It offers a unique playstyle that prioritizes utility and control over direct damage or tankiness. Glacial Augment is particularly effective when combined with items like Locket of the Iron Solari, as it synergizes with their peeling effects, helping you control the pace of fights and create opportunities for your team.

Hextech Flashtraption allows Thresh to get into some sneaky positions where you aren't expected to be there by avoiding vision from the enemy team, allowing you to get some surprise attacks on enemy champions and close the distance without them knowing.

Biscuit Delivery saves Thresh in the laning phase by covering his early mana costs of using his Death Sentence and Flay. Regaining mana after missing your skillshots is big to staying in the lane, and healing up using the Biscuit Delivery.

Cosmic Insight is just your best option here, giving you insane cooldowns on your Flash and Ignite insane cooldowns that people aren't used to, and giving your Locket of the Iron Solari a smaller cooldown offers you greater chances to save your teammates

Thresh to have some insane early damage with his Death Sentence doing nearly 100 damage at level 1 and his Flay also scaling with AP. We do need to pick up some armor though as Thresh can't get armor from leveling up
