Hello, this is DR34MK1LL3R, introducing to you my 2nd guide on MOBAFIRE. This one is a little unconventional mind you, it is about one ability of one champion. The reason I am doing this is because, though there are many guides, they will probably not expound on ALL of the uses of as this guide will attempt to do. Any and all comments are welcome. So without any further ado, here is the guide to one of the most fun abilities in the game, 's .

Explanation of Playful/Trickster

Playful/Trickster

is the E ability for the champion . It can be used as utility, damage, cc, and evasiveness. Once you activate it for the first time, will hop on top of his trident in the direction of your cursor, becoming UNTARGETABLE for .75 seconds. If you do not activate again in the next second, will slam the ground below him dealing 70/120/170/220/270(+75% of ability power) damage and slows the enemies hit in an area for 40/45/50/55/60% for 2 seconds. If activates again within 1 second of first cast, will leap off of his trident in the direction of the cursor, traveling an additional distance, slamming into the ground, dealing 70/120/170/220/270(+75% of ability power) damage in a smaller area than the original would, and does not slow enemies hit.

Using Playful/Trickster to Poke/Harass

This chapter is mainly for the laning phase. Once you are level 3, you gain pretty close to the best poke in the game. To start out the poking, you activate your W, , and then in, throw in a few AA if you possibly can (if you want to take 0 damage then don't put in AA), and then out. This is where our mastery comes in handy. If you are doing the CDR build, this poke combo will be quite potent with some mana items.

Using Playful/Trickster in Duel

can be an amazing ability in a duel. It can be used to escape, for the amazing magic damage it gives, initiating, or it can be used for the slow. I normally ult the person I want to kill (as long as I am level 6 obviously), W, Q in, pop a few AA, wait till right before the ult will nom, E, wait for the slam + slow, and finish them off with a few more AA and Q.

Using Playful/Trickster in Team Fights

Remember, using makes you UNTARGETABLE, meaning you cannot be hurt by anything except for (if it was already activated on you) or other DoT, such as red buff. So if you are getting focused hard, begin the fight with an ult, W, Q in, and then once they start to focus you, hop onto your pokey stick of doom, stay until you fall back down, then continue attacking. At level 16, your ultimate does 450 (+100% of ability power) damage, not counting runes or items, so this will help you burst them down.

Using Playful/Trickster When Escaping From Enemies

may be great in teamfights, but it is REALLY amazing when escaping from enemies. You can use both actives to jump away from them. Another thing to do is use it to save yourself from ultimates like 's , or 's . You can also do a really nice trick. If you time it right, you can activate W, BACKWARDS toward the enemy giving chase, and, if you land behind them, Q through them, making them take damage, and you can still keep running away. Since I cannot find a video of this, I am in the progress of making one. You can also use to jump over one of the walls that can be hopped over using it. Here is a map:

Using Playful/Trickster to Troll

If someone is chasing you, and you are near one of the walls that you can jump over, you can jump over the wall, wait for , then jump back over the wall, thus making the opponent waste . You can also use to do the poke combo mentioned in the section titled "Using Playful/Trickster to Poke/Harass," dealing damage, but taking none (if done correctly). Another way to troll is when an ally is targeted with an ability similar to 's . You can right into the path of the shot, but since your are untargetable, the bullet will continue to it's target.
