Hi, my name is Dreadpool and i am a Poppy main. I play her because she is fun to play and you can smack people with your hammer. Who wouldnt wanna do that?

You can play poppy Top, JNG and even support. At least if u know how.
In my first guide i will try to tell you how i rule with poppy in the top lane.

At first we start with the rune page.
I go Resolve cause you are going tank poppy.
In the resolve tree i go as keysone Aftershock.
Because if you e then against a wall your keystone will prock for more dmg.
Demolish is second for tower taking potential.
Conditioning vs a allround team, iron skin vs heavy ad and mirror shell vs heavy ap.
and last overgrowth because thats OP in the late game.

Secundary i choose domination with cheap shot and zombie ward.
Cheap shot for the true dmg on e stun.
zombie ward for extra vision. vision is key to victory.

In the mid to late game try staying with ur carries. You are their tank so its your job to engage or disengage. With poppy you need to prevent the enemy jumping/dashing into your team with the w. Also try making picks with the e or perhaps the flash e into team.

You can also use your ult to clear enemies from objectives and make teamfights into your advantage: 5v5 >>> 5v4, 5v3 or even 5v2. After this fight you can take towers or take objectives as team. Dont follow what u cant get. Its a waste of time.

The laning phase from poppy is not very important. You get farm and become unkillable.
Just farm with your auto's and q. If you want you can last hit minions with low hp with your e. This deals almost no dmg but can kill a minion if timed right.

You will have to practise the farming but once you got it you will be very strong very soon.
