Hey guys! I am currently a p5 jax main on the NA servers. My friends have been telling me to make a guide for a long time. So here it is! Sorry for my English, I got a 68% in it last semester, its garb.

Ok so this is the runes part of my guide. I decided to run life steal quints for this guide because I find it helps a ton. If you get Doran's and you have those runes, sustaining is fine. I used the classic armor and magic resist runes, and ad for farming. You may want to change up the life steal runes but I think its fine.

For masteries I run double edged sword. I find its really good for fighting with all the sustain you will have, and your counter strike. I also run some cooldown materies because Jax's w with cool downs is extremely good. I run 21/9/0 because I like to have more aggression as Jax but I also do not want to have no defense stats early.

First of all for items, I get the classic blade of the ruined king. Its good because of the magic damage passive on hit, as well as the amazing sustain and attack speed. Its active is amazing for chasing or dueling low targets. The second core item is trinity force. The sheen proc with Jax's w is hella damage. Its all around just an amazing item and a must get. The phage's speed up it also really nice. If you get Youmuus Ghostblade, the zeal from the trinity and Youmuus crits are nice. Spirit visage is good on Jax because of the nice mr and self healing. Randuins is also really good because its a nice armor item, and you don't wanna be squishy as hell.

-Easy to dodge ganks
-Can do amazing damage while tanky

-Not the best pre 6.
-Can get kited easily if not played right.
-AP laners destroy him.
-Needs kills/farm or can get very behind.
-Easily early poked.

I chose Flash and Ignite for my summoner spells. You can also run Teleport instead of ignite if you wish. I like ignite because I imagine Jax as an amazing fighter. I want to be able to demolish my lane so I can snowball like crazy. Ignite helps a ton with that. Teleport is good for fights but, I wanna demolish my lane.

When going ham on someone as Jax, make sure too Pop your counter, then pop w, then pop q on the enemy, and then ult if fighting. The reason for this is, If you w then q the w damage gets added onto the q adding more. The e makes it so you dodge any incoming attacks and when you land you can get a nice stun on him. This adds to amazing poke! After if the enemy is manly enough to fight you, Pop that ulty and say goodbye to them doing damage.
