Choose Champion Build:

  • LoL Champion: Wukong
  • LoL Champion: Leona

Introduction

This is a guide for a duo lane of Wukong and Leona.
I've learned through many games with as my laning partner, when I play these two work well together. With this guide you will have a dominant bottom lane(3v3) or Duo lane(5v5).

Runes

Wukong Explanation

Greater Mark of Desolation Helps with the Early game pressure of his e ( Nimbus Strike)
and when you get Last whisper it helps late game too (I'll explain that later)

Greater Mark of Scaling Mana Regeneration Playing as Wukong i've dealt with some mana problems and it doesnt hurt to have some extra Mana Regen.

Greater Glyph of Scaling Cooldown Reduction Cooldown Reduction helps everyone :)

Leona Explanation:

Greater Mark of Ability Power Since all of Leona's Skills scale off AP why not? (another choice would be Greater Mark of Magic Penetration)

Greater Seal of Armor Flat Armor Yellows help with the early game pressure and helps with initiating against AD champs. Flat Armor Yellows are Ideal.

Greater Glyph of Magic Resist Magic resist helps against the pesky AP casters. And with Eclipse The Magic Resist and Armor Runes make her even harder to hit.

Skills

Wukong:

Stone Skin: [Passive] Wukong's armor and magic resistance are increased for each nearby enemy champion.
Wukong's armor and magic resistance are increased by (8) for each nearby enemy champion.

I've been playing Wukong ever since he came out. And I have yet to see this passive work well for him. I, personally, have not seen it help me.

Crushing Blow: Wukong's next attack deals additional physical damage and reduces the enemy's Armor for a short duration.
Wukong's next attack deals (30/60/90/120/150) bonus physical damage and reduces the enemy's Armor by (30)% for 3 seconds.

This skill is a great way to get two hits on a champ or two last hits at once. With this skill you want to combo it with your E ( Nimbus Strike). And when you build your Sheen this skill does even more damage.

Decoy: Wukong becomes stealthed for 1.5 seconds. An uncontrollable decoy is left behind that will deal magic damage to enemies near it after 1.5 seconds.

Wukong becomes stealthed for 1.5 seconds. An uncontrollable decoy is left behind that will deal (70/115/160/205/250) (+(0.6 per ability power point)) magic damage to enemies near it after 1.5 seconds.

Warrior Trickster Is one of the reasons Wukong is so much fun to play. With this you can juke without the use of a Bush, you can just hit the (S) key on your key board to fake using this skill when it's on Cooldown. At level 4 you should have this skill. And your new combo would be E( Nimbus Strike) -> W( Warrior Trickster) -> Auto attack -> Crushing Blow.

: Wukong's staff grows outward and he spins it around, dealing damage and knocking up enemies. Wukong gains speed over the duration of the spell.

Wukong's staff grows outward and he spins it around, dealing (20/110/200) (+ 100% of your Attack Damage) physical damage per second and knocking up enemies he encounters once each. Wukong gains speed over the duration of the spell. Lasts 4 seconds.

If you have watched LeagueTopTen's First impressions video of Wukong *****ify explains to us that Cyclone should Knock up an enemy more than once. He explains it to be like Udyr's Blazing Stampede how after a certain amount of time Udyr will be able to stun the target again. I Agree with *****ify in this matter. This ultimate is great in a team fight and with Leona's ulti the team is stunned in one spot easy for you to ulti into all of the stunned and slowed targets and free damage.

Leona:

Sunlight: Passive, Leona's damaging spells affect the target with Sunlight for 3.5 seconds. When allied champions deal damage to those targets they consume the Sunlight debuff to deal additional magic damage. Bonus damage is 20/35/50/65/80/95/110/125/140 (upgrades every 2 levels).

Leona's Passive is just like a second Sheen or Exactly like Lux's but allows her teammates to activate the extra damage. With Wukong's Crushing Blow, and Sheen he will be doing more damage on the affected target.

Shield Of Daybreak, Leona uses her shield to perform her next autoattack, dealing bonus magic damage and stunning the target.

Leona's next autoattack deals an additional (40/70/100/130/160) (+(0.3)) magic damage and stuns the target for (1.25) seconds.

This skill is one stun out of Leona's Arsenal. This skill + Sheen Proc. will hurt. and allow for wukong or anyone else to catch up to the target. This skill combo'd with Leona's Zenith Blade is a main combo of Leona's.

Eclipse, Leona raises her shield to gain Armor and Magic Resistance. When the duration first ends, if there are nearby enemies she will deal magic damage to them and prolong the duration of the effect.

Leona raises her shield to gain (30/40/50/60/70) bonus Armor and Magic Resistance for (3) seconds. When the effect ends, she deals (60/110/160/210/260) (+40% Ability Power) magic damage to nearby enemies and prolongs the effect for a bonus (3) seconds if any enemies are struck.

This skill is what makes Leona so much tankier than she appears to be. With the combo i've previously stated your new combo would be W( Eclipse) -> E( Zenith Blade) -> Q( Shield of Daybreak). And the one unlucky person to be hit by this combo will then be, or hit simultaneously, by Wukong's Combo.

Zenith Blade, Leona projects a solar image of her sword, dealing magic damage to all enemies in a line. When the image fades, the last enemy champion struck will be briefly immobilized and Leona will dash to them.
Leona projects a solar image of her sword, which deals (60/100/140/180/220) (+(0.4 per ability power point)) magic damage to all enemies in a line. When the image fades, the last enemy champion struck will be briefly immobilized and Leona will dash to them.

Zenith Blade is your: Chasing skill, Juke skill, and Initiating skill. This is counted as one of Leona's stuns because it "briefly imobilizes" the last champ hit. This skill is also good to isolate the squishy on the opposing team.

Solar Flare, Leona calls down a beam of solar energy, dealing damage to enemies in an area. Enemies in the center of the area are stunned, while enemies on the outside are slowed.
After a brief delay, Leona calls down a beam of solar energy to deal (150/250/350) (+(0.8 per ability power point)) magic damage and slow enemies by (80)% for (1.5) seconds. Enemies in the center of the effect are stunned instead of slowed.

Finally Leona's Ulti. I honestly love/hate when i see that Circle on the ground then a beam of light hit my opponents/team. With this ulti( Solar Flare) and
Wukong's Ulti( Cyclone) it's a match made in Summoners Rift.

Items

The items displayed Above are the Core items. The items displayed here are some explanation to the items above and the Situational Items that work best with either Wukong or Leona

Wukong:
Hextech Gunblade You might be wondering why I've chosen to have a Hextech Gunblade in the build as a core item. With this your spells are healing you (mainly your E and Q) and with your auto attacks in between your skills and it gives a good amount of attack damage and AP.

Wit's End This item is well underused. This item is great against AP carries if they keep beasting you before you can beast them.(wordplay) the extra shred damage and Magic resist increase this item is ideal for taking out those AP carries faster. It also gives some nice Attack Speed.

Banshee's Veil This item is a must for those teams that are bombarding you with slows and stuns. This item gives HP/Mana and some nice Magic Resist.

Madred's Bloodrazor is for those Armor tanks with Thornmail. This item shreds their hp with magic damage so Thornmail wont hurt you. this items is a good idea. (if you're not getting enough gold you could always just buy the Black Cleaver)

Sword of the Divine Just your Jax counter

Leona:

Banshee's Veil I like the idea of Having a spell shield on a tank, and Leona is no different. With this she'll be even harder to kill than before.

Force of Nature Gives the most Magic Resist in the game and it gives you 8% movement speed which is good for chasing.

Thornmail For AD Carries shredding through your armor. you're probably asking yourself "But what about madreds shredding through me? You just explained that It shreds Armor Tanks." Well the thing about Leona she also has a fair amount of Magic Resist also so Madreds should not be doing too much damage to you.
