Threats & Synergies
Nocturne can get to you extremely easily que to his Q and R be warry of his W because he can block your Q wich leaves you exposed if you dont have R ready. With E he will make sure to stay close to you and kill you easily. Take flash and ghoste to get away if he engages.
Vi is easy just cancel her jump with your Q and she will be ready to be served some nice damage. If you bully her enough pre 6 she will not have any killpresure on you with R and you can heal easily with yours. Also if she uses R on you it is quite likely she will be far away from her turret so its time for some more damage.
Aatrox can be quite discusting die to his heal and utility. However you will be fine as long as you can dodge his Q knockups as you can escape his cage fairly easy
BE CAUTIOUS Especialy an amumu gank can destroy your gameplan because it is almost impossible to block his Q therefore you have to dodge It
Camille depends on getting close to you. So block her 2nd E jump with your Q and she will regret not dodgeing this round. In general the matchup against Camille and Vi are fairly equal. However her W may deal quite some damage to you so do your self a favour and dodge it
Dodge his Q and be warry of Turbo Chemtank and you will be eating him for breakfest.
Dont let him grab you as he will slice you into pieces afterwards. If he misses his grab its time to take out your AAs and show him why he hates ranged toplaners if he starts to get close use your Q to get him of. Past 6 you should also consider Ulting if he manages to grab you in order to compromise losses
JUST DONT DO IT unleess youre a masochist and love vietnam flashbacks If someone picks Mundo into you, my personal advise would be dodging.
If you manage to Q her in her dash it is unlikely she will block with her W wich leaves her exposed like a newborn to a canibalist doctor.
If you ever played GP you will know how frustrating your E is against ranged Champions. If you play against GP make sure to stay out of his barrels and smash that private property as soon as possible. You might consider skilling E 2nd to block his Q damage. Otherwise care for his passive speed and Make shure to give that suggardaddy a nice clap on his boody.
Use your Q to block him while he is in charge as his friends blocked him when they found out he mained Garen. Also make sure not to get to close to him. In addition be warry of lvl 6 flash all ins as you might consider them a Nuclear bomb to your 4 max health
His Q sucks but you can block his jumps with your Q and R wich leaves him crying for his mommy.
Block her Jump and dodge her E. Also stay out of her R unless you are interested in Hentai gameplay
Dodge her E and block her Q If she uses R dont hesitate to use yours as soon as she gets in Q range.
Block his Q and then bully him.
Jayce is hard because he has an extreme damage output. So be sure to allways dodge his Q or else you will get smashed. Dont dodge his Q when he plays Resistance Jayce cause then you want to get smashed. Make sure to block his Jump
Block his E and you'll be fine. Dodge his Q and he'll be cryin'. R after he does his and he'll be lyin' when he says he had fun
You can harrass him fairly easy just make sure as not to let him get close with his slow. consider taking phase rush as rune and Ignite + ghost to keep him from getting his sweet sweet stacks also build boots of swiftnes
He will have a hard time pre 6 because he has no dash ability. Make sure to poke him frequently as he should not get his Shield back. (he needs to be 10s outside of combat) If you bully him correctly he will not be able to nuke you on lvl 6. depending on his playstyle skill E or Q on 2nd lvl If he only pokes use E to reduce his damage if he comes charging at you afterwards skill Q and also consider taking phaserush to get away with W + Q + AA
Skill E 2nd to block her E damage and than rip her apart. After lvl 6 she is ranged wich is sad but if you manage to Poke her properly she will probably waste her Ult after wich you can Kill her easily
Dodge his Q and block his E. Use your R if he does too . Better ask for help from Yi. If he stuns you youe are poo. you dont need Yi as long as you dont get stunned but im already working 2h on this guide.
Pre 6 make sure to dodge his Q and show him who is the domina in you top-lane realationship. After lvl 6 there are three options 1. Praying and Simping 2. Running away using ghost flash and phaserush 3. Trolling your entire team as they predicted in champselect
You can block his E wich will put the furry in place but make sure that he doesnt hit his W. If he Ults make sure to generate as much distance as possible before the Goat hits.
Block his W with Q or R wich will be hard . Also if he uses his shield to block your W use an AA to bait his E and destroy his honor after it ends
If you stay out of her Q rage and block her E she will be no threat. Also dont be Greedy with your R.
If you block her E she will look as dumb as her damage is so be warry.
Be Sure to stay in maximum distance so you can block the second Jump. If you manage to do that then he will have the full Lane bully experiece new players have playing against him.
Stay on maxrange when playing against her as Riven has lots of dashes However you only need to woorry about her last Q jump. If you block it with your Q then you have enough time to make some distance so that she cann not catch you with W and E. Also be warry of flash engages and lvl 6 all ins. In those cases the "block last Q" advice still stands true however with flash its way less predictable and with Ult she can deal lots of damage so dont be greedy with yours
Q him as soon as he charges at you with his Q. Also dont let him grab you. After he ults you use yours to get him off of you.
block His E and he might as well be a Minion. Also cancel his ult if possible to fuck him up realy badly.
Definitly run ghost to keep a good distance between the 2 of you. You can also let him get a little closer to you so its harder for him to dodge your Q. If he starts charging at you from further away it is also possible throw your Q between him and your tower then run towards your tower. Let it charge untill its nice and crispy and round it off with a nice knockup as soon as singed passes the line of the Q. To top it W him while he is knocked up so he will be as slow as a granny passing down the street.
Pre 6 you should make sure to cancel his knockup with your Q. After he hits level 6 you should try to dodge his charge (Obviously). If he stops close to you either Q him or use R. If he is about to hit you shield your self and R as soon as possible. Alternatively panic and waste all the things you have just to die anyways
cancel his dash with your Q and if he ults a R + Q towards him will help you consider taking Phaserush to compensate for his slow or if you feel confident in your prediction skill take Arcane comet for extra damage.
you should dode his Q and block his jump. If he gets close to you and has his R on you dont greed your R
Use your Q if you think he is about to jump. If you hit him in jump its time to bully him if you dont then the zone you get with Q is enough to make some distance. If you dont hit him in jump play safe untill your Q is back up. after level 6 its the same. If he cant get close then he cant use ult
Champion Build Guide
1. Your a hipster. Janna is almost never played toplane and playing her looks cool.
2. Suprise. because nobody plays Janna top nobody is used to play against her as well wich gives you the advantage
3. Fun. Playing Janna toplane is Fun. It may require a little bit of practice but you can dominate allmost all matchups because toplaners usualy rely on their jumps when playing against ranged Champes.
4. Rage. Everybody knows lol is a toxic game. So imagine you are playing toplane against a ranged Supporter that totaly destroys you. Most players would get mad and start playing worse in addition to blaming riot games for bad balancing. In addition the other enemys will also get mad and stard throwing, because their toplaner looses against a Support.
If you play janna toplane you are missing a tank in your team wich can be a problem.
However you have two supports, so a hypercarry comp is suggested.
2. Canceling Jumps.
It is importent to Cancel your enemys jumps because janna has only little health and can be easily killed if you reach her.
Flash + Ghost:
You have to use this against champs that can catch up to you easily (e.g. Nocturne) or if you want to have an easyer time chasing or escaping from ganks.
Ghost + Ignite
Take this only if the enemy has a hard time getting to you as you cant use flash as an escape
However the damage increase you get from ghost can give you nice kill presue espacialy on first levels
Corrupting gives nice sustain and damage, even more when using time warp tonic
Tear for more poke so you can spam abilitys. Later it will provide lots of AP
Boots let you deal lots of damage and also help with dodging
I would allways recomend building Mana Mythic items as I allways build tear.
Ludens is good because of the splash damage it deals and the movementspeed it provides.
Liandrys is good because it provides lots of abilityhaste wich will let you spam your ablilities Lategame.
It also syergises well with Cosmic drive, wich will get changed soon anyways.
Boots are an extremly important part of jannas build because they also provide damage in addition to mobility.
Boots of swiftnes are good because they provide a good amount of speed and damage permanently and prevent you from geting sliced by nasus and other extreme slows.
Ionians let you Spam abilitys wich is really cool. they also synergise with Cosmic drive even if only a little.
Moblility boots provide lots of damage on your first W or AA wich can be extremly cool when playing support.
However it ist harder to make use of it when playing toplane because you will also have to farm
Mecurys and Plated boots are selfexplanatory.
All of these items have a good use.
Liandrys and cosmic drive provied utility and defense
Rabadons in combination with Seraphs provide lots of AP and damage
Horizo focus provides lots of damage because you are quite CC heavy.
I also one to two supportitems because you want to support your Hypercarry as good as possible
Ardent and Staff provide a little healing as well as AP while Mikaels and redemption provide lots of heal.
Keep that in mind but focus more on the effects
A level 2 Q skill is usualy good because you can cancel enemy lvl 2 engages leaving them exposed to your damage. However you can also skill your E if the enemy has a longrange pokespell as well.
Max your E second for supporting ganks, impact in teamfights and some more sustain in lane.
You can also max Q second for some extra damage.
Arcane comet is extremely strong because of the extra damage it can provide. When poking the enemy Arcane comet can give you the edge and generate easy kills on first levels.
Relentless hunter is quite good for poking as well because of the extra Damage you get on your W or autoatack also you can roam midlane fairly easy due to the extra movementspeed.
Theese runes are strong against champions that can close up to you fairly easy such as Renekton, Mordekaiser or Darius as you can deal lots of damage in short trades, wich leaves the oponent with little time to react.
Take Sumon aery against Champions that cant do a thing against your poke such as garen, maybe a lee sin toplane or illaoi as you can cancel their engage with your Q. The damage over time your aery provides is quite nice and its shield is quite strong in teamfights. Biscuit delivery is super strong because it provides sustain due to its mana regeneration, wich you will need because you are permanently spaming abilitys.
For both runepages you may also take waterwalking for roaming midlane and fighting for crabs as you will likely have priority.
